Picked up the Golden Cello - was suspicious of the combined drive/delay but it’s an awesome pedal! Play singing leads all day long - also stacks incredibly well with boost.

Happy New year Henning. I think this is the first video where I like the sound of the Murple, which looks amazing of course. For that matter I feel the Berumen has better warmer sound and less harsh I think (at least over the youtube audio I get). Keep the good reviews coming, you do an excellent job.

I guess you can talk about it any terms you like, but I still want my repeats to match my tempo. Too bad they didn’t drill a small hole and make the stem on the trim pot a 1/2 inch longer... pscht!

The AC30 is very pedal friendly but everything sounds better in the Carl Martin.

Wagner Rosa not in my opinion. I want my pedals to be the spices and my amp to be the main ingredient, the main taste. The Carl Martin has not so much character, so the pedals create the character. It's the ideal amp for pedal demoing for sure. (In terms of the food allegory I guess I'm a bit hungry right now😋)

Lenny W I agree with you but for someone who loves the sound of pedals that's the amp ;) I prefer a good old Marshall tones with some pedals like Tube Screamer and Delay. Cheers bro!

Excellente demo thank you ! I I would have liked to see it before buying my Golden Cello which is too fuzzy for my playing. Now I would like to trade my Golden Cello for a Blue Bird OD....

trouble is, you'd be paying for a static delay sound that 99% of pedal players probly already have and can dial in, in a dedicated delay pedal. So then the question becomes, is the OD/gain unique sounding enough that you can only get it in these pedals. Methinks not.
