This will sell maybe 10 extra tickets just because some small group is seeing it for her wooden style of acting. She gives 2008 Kristen Stewart a run for her money in blandness. Now Kristen Stewart is killing it though, she's really stepped up her game. So there is hope Dakota will eventually learn to act, it just wont be in this movie.

I'm not watching this. This trend of modern feminists imbuing every show/movie with misandry has become a problem for us fantasy/sci- fans. And what makes it so much worse is that if we comment about it we're called misogynists. This needs to stop. It's also so extremely hypocritical and devious of them. They have become the very thing they hated in men. The stories used to have great women and men as characters, not this all-woman casting and repeating theme of demeaning men that we've seen for years now. Equality would equally represent male and female, not one or the other. It's creating more cultural problems then helping. Being a published author, Hollywood needs to stop lazily shoving their political crap into their productions, because it breaks all emersion and is creating more division and culture wars. Also, good writers with skill and care can put a parable that's uplifting for the world into a story and that still have a great plot, world building, and character development. This is just fan fiction surface level writing that uses virtue signaling to attack anyone who critiques it.

You got it, they're so focused on checking progressive boxes that you're left shaking your head and rolling your eyes at how obvious and annoying it is, and it is happening in the writers room too, people being hired not because of their talent or creativity but because of their gender, skin color, sexual orientation, etc. so the writing is usually terrible and the biggest fan base of this type of content is left baffled and disappointed because now it's made for someone else and it's full of messages that you dont really want to hear about when trying to escape reality and enjoy some fun sci fi.

Over in actual progressive spaces they're mocking the absolute hell out of this film, but you don't see it. They see that this movie is bad because it's a sad money-grubbing attempt by a corporation with zero artistic motivation trying to squeeze every last penny out of the only IP they've managed to hold on to against Marvel's attempts to pull them back into the fold. They often agree with you on what aspects of these movies are bad (e.g. they drag the hell out of that She-ro lineup scene in Endgame), and only disagree with the *why* and the *who*. You keep blaming the wrong people and the wrong motives, tying all of your criticisms into this culture war nonsense, so you'll always find yourself in opposition with people who should have been your natural allies against these soulless cash-grab excuses for films.
