I was at this concert, like a virgin was even more provocative best concert ever!!!!

Trivia: this concert took place in the Olympic Stadium, and somebody wrote in the wall "Madonna olympic whore". This writing was there for more than a decade. I'm from Barcelona, so this recording has a special place in my heart. All the things she says in Spanish slang were taught to her by Pedro Almodóvar who hosted a welcome party for her in Madrid. (You can see it in Truth or dare)

If you can, I’d rather you switch to the first half of the tour where she wears the iconic ponytail. Look for the remastered version of the blond ambition tour in Japan. Her voice is in better shape. Her energy is higher and the ponytail is the original costume as designed by Jean Paul Gaultier.

I think there are roughly four "acts" in this tour. You could do part 1 in Barcelona (but watch the whole show on your own as it's infamous among hardcore fans for things that didn't go as planned and Madonna was rumored to be pretty stressed by the experience and possibly alluded to this and the final show in Nice in the opening narration of "Truth or Dare" where "everything was getting to her" by the tours ending dates. This was the next to the final show. Anyway - mix it up and react to the final show in Nice, France as well as the early show in Japan which was professionally filmed (and assembled from several shows since the weather was rainy and stormy and they culled the best footage from a few shows in Japan to make one complete program for a Laserdisc release (the picture was great and the sound was better than anything blu ray and 4K could offer (that's just my opinion though!). There are some vids on KZfaq featuring shows in Houston and New Jersey as well (which is my favorite vid of "Vogue" due to the strong drum beats and her cute banter with her band and audience). Mix it up and assemble different venues into one reaction since Madonna herself had so many reactions during this tour! Have fun - I'm watching them all with you. Then cap it all off with the final stand alone reaction: the film TRUTH OR DARE - just like we did back in 1990-91. :)

For me, I think the best quality version is the Nice, France version. It was filmed for HBO and is the last concert of the tour. You can spot straight away any video or photos from the Barcelona show because that summer Europe was particularly hot. I was on holiday when she did her sold out 3 night run at Wembley stadium. The second show on Saturday night was broadcast live on BBC radio 1. The D.J. who was hosting the into to the broadcast and was filling time until he got the nod that the show was starting talked about because of how hot it was people were passing out and others having to be pulled out the crowd for their safety. This radio broadcast became infamous because she was told not to swear because it was going out live on the radio. This of course was like waving a red rag to a bull. She instead said the F work over 20 times in 3 minutes. 😂😂 Anyway she looks hilarious during the Barcelona show because her hair is all frizzy because of the heat. 😅😅❤❤

There are different versions of the Blond every show is different. This is special in Spain because Madonna had several technical problems and unforeseen events In addition, there was record heat that made everything more difficult. There are "sections" of this concert that make it easy to react to. It has different sets and themes every few songs and each section works as a total idea. You cut the first section short of its last song, Where's the Party. The next section is about 25 mins with 5 songs and is the greatest section in any concert rivalled only by Queens Live Aid section in my opinion. You simply must do this section as one reaction. The 3rd section is 3 songs. The final section is 4 songs.

The best version are the clips from Truth Or Dare, because there wasn't an official whole show release 😢 The closest to it is the Nice, France show. I know, I prefer the ponytail in Japan but the audience is almost dead 😅

Happy Madonna Monday my friend! YASSSSSSS! We are here. To my all time favorite tour of hers. This was also my first time seeing her live! I was 17 and seen her at the Rosemont Horizon in Chicago. We were lucky enough to see her from like the 4th row on the right side of the stage. It was everything and more. My life was changed after that experience, TRUST!!!! Love her, Love you!
