In this episode of 'Mukhyamantri,' Saurabh Dwivedi talks about Madan Lal Khurana who became the Chief Minister of Delhi in 1993 after passing the National Capital Territory of Delhi act. Madan Lal Khurana had to resign from his post after being named in the Jain Hawala diary after which Sahib Singh Verma became the Chief Minister in 1996. Madan Lal Khurana served as the chief minister of Delhi from 1993 to 1996. He also served as the governor of Rajasthan in 2004. He was a member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Madan Lal Khurana was the Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Tourism in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government. Former Delhi Chief Minister Madan Lal Khurana died in Delhi on October 27, 2018, night after a prolonged illness at the age of 82 years.
