This is good. Hes really putting himself out there. It's not easy to walk that str8 path. Hes struggling with his addictions & his "critics." When you put your sobriety out into the public eye, it's hard when you fall or fail. Hes saying to never forget that even once sobriety is found it is difficult to maintain. A lot of judgement comes with that. So the beast is always there & will always be there. This is why he's saying he sounds like a broken record.

Madchild... this was fucking amazing! I love how you use lines from old songs, switch them up and recast them to give us a perspective on how it feels to trapped in your on mind. When my dad was still alive he used to say that my mom (who suffers from bipolar disorder) sometimes became a broken record, and in order to get out of the depressive looping thoughts she had to put another record on in her mind. Seeing that I'm a depressed person myself I can totally relate to this song!
