@@jayasmrmore3687 just look at 20:25 were he just touched those and they wobbled around + left side were hanging towards the bumper while in the end on the other timestamp they are aligned and doesnt move while he puts his coating on. so atleast they were off the car to either replace or redo them given that its not shown they are probably just replaced.

Xtreme APC does a great job of removing dirt from tires, but weak to remove silicone based tire dressings.

Me too! I have a 98’ Ford and the headlights look awful. It looks like he put in new ones. That’s what I’ll have to do. New assembly on both sides

@@JAMESYBOY. they are not easy lights to find ,they haven’t been made in years , you can find ugly after markets but most people with these rarer fox body’s want to keep them factory OEM. There is new old stock out there but they sell for upwards of 1500.00 a set. You can restore these lights easily , it takes knowledge and time but original are the original and depending on the purpose of the car most will go that way … providing they can find someone that knows how.

you could already tell from the beginning this car was in good shape, just needed a really good cleaning. owning a foxbody for 11 years you can see what parts make this thing so clean and original. i love the original look of these mustangs.

100% that was a great car to start with. First wash in 15 years? Maybe, but 14 of those it was probably indoors. Virtually no deep scratches, rust, dents, or sunburn thinning the paint. That car was taken care of for a long time before it spent any real time outdoors.

I don't know about about anyone else, but I really enjoy watching the paint transfer from older paint jobs like this get air compressed off the buffer, at least once or twice. I'm almost positive there was a lot of paint transfer on this one. Your videos are still the one thing I look forward to the most on Thursdays!!

Nice one! Re the seats - I've encountered this with mostly convertibles of this era. My best guess is a combo of sunlight, leather conditioner without cleaning first, and subsequent dirt gathered while the top is down.

I did a full detail on a red Fox body convertible years ago. It was a big job and took 2 days. The paint looked like red chalk. The owner who was a coworker of mine was going to get it repainted and I told him that I could restore his paint and save him thousands. He was absolutely amazed when he picked his car up.

Pro tip take the center caps off cars that have then and clean the lugs too.Helps prevent swelling lug nuts from harsh weather conditions ...I used have a detailing company of my own and now I’m a mechanic so I got best of both worlds lol

I always pop those center caps off the wheels to get that dirt and nastiness out of the lines. Not saying anything about mad, it’s just something I’ve always done. I just use a 🐗 hair brush to get the area around the lug nuts clean. I like when the lug nuts are exposed and chrome. They usually clean up nice and make a difference.
