Now that I wired up the light harness on my custom KC Gravity Pro6 light bar, it's time to get it all wired up to the vehicle and connect it to some switches!
Here's a link to a wire gauge chart that I refer to often: images.crutchfieldonline.com/...

Another interesting way to pull wire through a tube is with a piece of string and a vacuum. You use the vacuum to pull string through first and then attach your wire to it to pull it back through.

Thanks for an excellent tutorial video. I recently purchased the same Stealth rack from Gobi. I’m about a month into the long waiting period for it. I’m not sure what lighting I want to go with yet, but this is an awesome option. The bracket fabrication was especially helpful. That model mock-up was brilliant. OIIIIIIIO

Hey Brien, did you ever post that video of your solution to those dents on your passenger side fender? Great looking install!

Hey so I’m trying to do the same. Do the Pro 6s come that way or did you do additional wiring for each individual light before install?

awesome video my good man!!...just have a question.....So i'm running 6 KC slimlites pulling 50w/4amps each (24amps/300w for the whole bar) on a roll bar on the back of my tacoma......have the wiring harness plugged into the lights and have the harness with all the relays...i'm running it into a spod system so i snipped off all the relays and all i have left is about 4 feet of cable (1 white 1 black) within the sleeve....I need to run it a good 8 feet id say to reach the spod....each spod terminal can take 30 amps....but i'm worried about power loss getting there...do you think 12awg would be enough?...or bump it to 10 awg?
@SonoranSpaceProgram
@SonoranSpaceProgram 2 жыл бұрын
Definitelt bump it to 10awg, that will be able to handle the 24A over that distance

@@SonoranSpaceProgram thanks my good man!...also if the wires I'm going to extend from are 12awg that's a 4 ft run from the lights, is that ok so run the 10awg from there?

Hello Brien. A very creative, apparently fun, and top quality looking effort, congrats! How useful since you installed have you found the two switch setup?
@SonoranSpaceProgram
@SonoranSpaceProgram 3 жыл бұрын
I use it quite often. I knew ahead if time that I wanted this dual setup due to my unmet needs while on the types of trails and roads we typically find ourselves on here in the southwest and MX.

I do not have a video about it, but that's a great idea! Next time I have somebody come into the shop wanting me to wire up a relay box and switch panel i'll make a video of it! In the mean time, i can put together a general one about the process. I have enough extra bits and bobs here at the shop to go over all the moving parts

Curious how you went about setting it up so you could control the ambers and whites separate like you did. Is it setup that way already or did you custom wire it that way?
