To me personally, Alan Jackson has always been one of those artists that when you fall in love with his songs you fall for his character as well. Love your reactions to emotions.

Even if you don't like country music .... the twang or whatever, its hard to deny that its lyrical structure is so often very involved and easily relatable to its listener. Hearing country music is like being home no matter where you are. Great reaction!

I think this song is under-appreciated. This video is also the only time I ever seen him without a mustache, and I have been a fan of his since I was about 4 in the mid 90's.. It's strange seeing him without a mustache, since he's always had one, but he looks good without one. I wonder where that decision came from.

I suggest Alan Jackson's "Like Red on a Rose". It's different sounding than his usual stuff, and I think it was helped produced by Alloson Kraus. It's very under-appreciated, and I haven't seen anyone react to it yet. It's a great love song.
