Thank you for the great videos!. I really have gotten your teaching on KZfaq. That is why I bought study materials for Celpip on your website. These are my sentences below. Please check my things and feedback on what is incorrect. I used to live in Korea = I lived in Korea I am getting used to live in Canada with various cultures. I am often used to taking a shower in the morning. = I have usually taken a shower in the morning. I used to be used to riding a motorcycle 8 years earlier when I went to a University from my home. = I had ridden the motorcycle 8 years ago when I went to the University from my home.

Dear friend, let me try to answer this questsion, I may not correct. both sentence have silimar meanings; but not the same. There is a subtle difference in their implications. I used to live suggests that you lived in Korea at some point in the past, but no longer now. I lived in, is just simply the fact that you had residence in Korea at some point in the past, but not tell whether you currently live there or not.

I used to have lots of alcoholic drink, but I completely cut it down right now. I'm getting used to not shivering because of Siberia coldness. Great job! The first sentence is a bit awkward. It's better to say: I'm used to the great Canadian culture. I have become adapted to the great Canadian culture.

Hey Mark I have one more doubt, can we make questions in this way? Did you used to live in London before you came to India? Or did you live in London before you came to India? In some situations is it possible to use did you use to?

English is confusing. Sorry. 😝😝 When you say "used to" meaning in the past (like in childhood), then you don't use ING words. "I used to live in Germany." - That means I lived in Germany sometime in the past. When you say "used to" meaning "accustomed to" something, then we use ING words. "I'm used to living in Germany now."
