I have a 10 month old puppy. If you want her to sleep with you, then you MUST set alarms to take her potty in the night. Or she will pee on your bed. My pup sleeps with us, but is crate trained during the day. Find a chew that she likes, such as a bully stick (make sure to get an attachment so she doesnt choke on it), and leave that in the crate with her. Or give her a lick mat. Makes sure to feed all meals in the crate so she has positive reinforcement. It is hard for the first month, but she will learn to enjoy it. Start by leaving for 30 min, and slowly up to the length of time you desire. Snuggle puppies are great to help puppies enjoy their crate. Rachel Fusaro on KZfaq has great crate training tips!

I would give mine treats when she went in there by herself and tell her good girl and I would put toys in there so she thought it was a safe space! She loves her crate now! I leave it open and she will go sleep in it on her own when she wants her space away from people (:

For my puppy I fed her in her crate to get her comfortable being in there and don’t put her in there for a punishment! I also put a blanket over her crate at night so she can’t see and it’s darker so she knows it’s time to go to bed! she goes in there to nap by herself all the time now! also put a tshirt or sweatshirt in the crate with her that smells like you!

Give her lots of good chew toys for teething
