i’m so glad someone is calling out the actions of the male leads in these romances, things that are genuinely harmful and traumatic are being so romanticised and it can be so harmful :(

I’ve heard about it and one of my friends said they loved both books. I was like “wtf” after she told me about some of the scenes. I’m up to try a dark romance from time to time but I don’t think I will ever read that series thankfully.

I have read Haunting Adeline and tbh i do get your complains, but i did like it, i dont usually think about books deeply so i didint realise how much they were contradicting. You are so rigth, and about the Priest, i wanted to read it for few months, but just the thing of him being a priest is so disgusting i could never.

Coppersmith Farmhouse was one of the worst books I've ever read. You didn't even mention how he yells at the child, telling her to shut up. And straight up gaslights the FMC. I fucking hate that book
