Actually that’s a good question. If Mami was so damn lonely then why didn’t she buy a pet or something? It would have stopped her loneliness and gave her motivation to keep living since someone would need her to come home.

more important who would take care of her pet when shes gone forever? remember that she has no relatives and no one to count on, hunting witch is dangerous job
