When Warner Records announced the Drowned World Tour dates that should begin in June in Cologne, the global box office had unprecedented frenzy, with tickets sold out within hours. Madonna last tour had been The Girlie Show in 1993. More than 100 tons of equipment including giant screens, 8 TIR trucks, this mechanical bull & 200 people entourage. The stage had 450 square meters.

The English producer William Orbit, worked on Ray Of Light, Music & MDNA albums, posted on his Facebook - on the week in which M was pulled by her huge Armani cape at the beginning of Living For Love performance on Brit Awards - that Madonna during Drowned World Tour suffered a spinal disc herniation & continued the tour, without no complain.

The electronic vamp at the end made me wish they had transitioned into one of the club remixes of the song (Bottom Heavy Dub, Love Is Thy Nature). Those are epic.

The mechanical bull was manufactured in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. It was blessed by a priest there prior to being shipped to LA for rehearsal. The seat was designed to fit Madonna perfectly.
