I absolutely love her confident and self-awareness when she says she'll always be big, even if she "disappears tomorrow." She was so right. A one-in-a-lifetime legend like Madonna will always be huge and will always be relevant.

Same here. I saw it twice in theaters. I still love this movie. The first time I saw it, I was so sad when she took the little boy away from him. But it had a sweet ending.

It's funny watching Madonna at the end of this interview saying that she hopes she wont still be doing all this when she's in her 50s as it's exhausting. Yet here we are 14 years later, and she turned 56 yesterday and she's about to release a new album and go on another world tour ha ha. She obviously didn't realise in 2000 that in her 50s she'd be banging toy boys and hanging out with hip twenty-something year olds, still having number one albums and making millions and millions touring.

I liked this movie. I can see in retrospect that she was attempting to recapture the magic Julia Roberts and Rupert had in “My Best Friends Wedding”. But I think her acting was good. Not great but good. And I think all of the years of people criticizing her acting took its toll and she became frustrated and self conscious. Quintin Tarantino had the best quote on Madonna’s acting skills, and it’s too bad they didn’t collaborate.

ITS NOT FAKE. SHE'D BEEN LIVING OVER THERE FOR A FEW YEARS AND WAS LOSING HER AMERICAN ACCENT. IT WASNT SOMETHING SHE WAS DOING ON PURPOSE. PLUS SHE SPOKE TO AN ENGLISHMEN FOR OVER 10YRS. HER HUSBAND...

***** Yes she was living there at the time shed been dating and living with then boyfriend Guy Richie for about 2 yrs if this is actually 2000. And just like some brits and aussies lose their accents when they move here and adopt our accents, like Mel Gibson, Kim Cattrell, Robert Pattison all have. She was losing her American accent. Its a fact. You're in a different country for a prolonged period of time you will adopt the dialect. There manner of speaking. Its Common sense.

Yeah, he's a real Asshole, he is a rock music journalist n Ireland, Always looks down his nose at Pop music, if its Rock crap he will rant and rave at how amazing it is, if its Madonna, Kylie, Britney, GaGa etc.. he will Bitch the Hell out of it !
