FANTASTIC! The girls went into total insanity :) I read in a biography that when Madonna arrived at Radio City Music Hall didn't expect so many girls dressed like her ... the "wannabe's". I have a special affection for "The Virgin Tour" (1985) Madonna was so fresh and new for the 80's. Love her raspy and raw voice.

I dressed like her when she was on her drowned world tour when I went to see her after her show got canceled because of 9/11. The show got rescheduled, and I wore her fit she had during the first part of the show: plaid skirt over leather pants, fishnet shirt over a blank tank, straps hanging, spiked bracelets. I was getting my LIFE 😎 #thepowerofMadonna

I’d like to see these women go back and see this video report to see how much they have enjoyed their youth. I wished I could have experience this era. Must have been really groundbreaking!

It was and a really magical time. Here in the UK we also had Madonna fever and wanted to be her, her music, style and individuality made her a true icon and how she just owned it gave a lot of us who were teens ourselves a new found confidence and it was just so much fun copying her look. Great times.
