The fact that she was 47 years old here and at her absolute prime even with how the industry was trying to snub her because of her age. The Confessions era has always been my favorite along with Bedtimes Stories.

God, I am still in love with this era. The look, the sound, the tour... Everything was just perfect.

So refreshing to see her so relaxed, without trying to be someone she isn't, someone trying so desperately hard to be 'cool'. I miss this person.

It's unbelievable she was nearing her 50s in this interview. Such youthful appearance and energy. Not to mention incredible success of the CD and the tour.

I met Madonna a week before this interview. I spent a few hours with her deejaying Lola's Birthday Party. This is the Madonna I met and spent time with. Well manner, polite, friendly and quite down to earth like we see in this interview. She was lovely to me. We talked about Music and we clicked. The next day her then manager Angela Becker called me. Loved her confessions period looks and sound. Look how tiny she looks in this video. During her Kabbalah years I found her to be far more grounded and less diva like. It’s interesting when the interviewer asks her about songs that defined her career and she can’t think of one That’s always been her strength, she never looks back, always looks forward. She never really dwelt on her past success, always looked at how what she was going to accomplish next

My goal as of now is to listen to her interviews atleast 2 to 3 ....because I'm going thru a divorce,Single mom and my mom is schizophrenic and no where to go for wisdom because I'm lost ...listening her talk makes me so much calm and I m learning how to navigate in chaos...I'm facing the same questions from my inner self ...she was talking about those things in the era of Ray of light ....thank you M❤

Thanks for posting this interview. This is another example that her 'Confessions' era was her peak as an artist and public personality. She was mature, eloquent, unaffected and only interested in her work, as opposed to her later obsession with trying to be young and cool. Everything she did after 'Confessions' had the screaming subtext of "I'M STILL YOUNG!" The Confessions tour was artistic perfection from beginning to end because her years of amazing experience culminated in an artistically-brilliant show on every level.

Confession Era, she looked sweet and happy before midlife crisis and divorce. In her recent albums, she tried to look young and everything was messed up. Sadly, she relied on painkillers and antidepressants in her old age.

She is so cool and collected in this interview and eara... I found out after the album was released that she was recording it down the road from where I was living in Kilburn Park London when I first moved there in 2005. I was absolutely livid when I saw pictures of her going in and out of stewarts house in glasses and a cap, she was prob next to me in the local shop and I didn't even realise 😂😂 Needless to say this eara was like a bomb dropping xx

Her face when Trump was mentioned. 😂. She looks and always has looked beautiful, even now. I do think she's too thin here though. She had obviously restricted herself so much throughout her career with her diet and exercise regime. It's nice to see her with some little more weight on her now, being in her 60's it's good for her and will stand to her. She obviously has a great dietician who has recommended she relaxes and eats more. I'm proud of her for going that way because there are way too many women of her age, famous or not who convince themselves that being stick thin makes them beautiful. She's on it and always has been. As far as other comments that say she's more natural here in the interview, she is because she's relaxed and has been in so many others. The public will never know madonna through any interview because that's what she has always done since her early career. She keeps her private self to herself and I respect her for that. Thanks for sharing this interview. It was lovely to see. X

I like Madonna look this period of time and way she expresses herself I liked confessions on dance floor album she looked good and not plastic like she does now , think plastic surgery when do to much doesn't look good , it's rubbish that we age but I think to much plastic does not look attractive and all for looking young but when spoil your face with it, I feel it's a shame. The most interesting response was about the business of music and how she brushed off the question. This is evidence, to me, that she was already 10 steps ahead of the changing business model. Obviously she avoided the question because no answer she could give would not end up being played as a rant over money - hearing rich people bitch about money never goes well. … I would actually like to hear her talk about the business aspect of her career.
