Those who know will remember what an EVENT it was every time Madonna released a new album. What would the videos be like? What would her new look be? The TV interviews, the references to her from other areas of the entertainment and political world. Her LGBTQ+ advocacy back when it wasn't well supported. She influenced so much outside music, she was an industry unto herself and all this, of course, was before social media. No matter what else might be said about her or her career, she has been a major influence on society and she has brought a lot of enjoyment and fun to millions of people throughout her career. Personally, to this day, one of her upbeat songs can lift my mood, and I appreciate that.

My Dad was the Location mgr of this video filmed off Temple St in Los Angeles.. That was a built theater on an empty lot.. This is the video I got to meet her at the craft service table as she skipped over my way.. My dad pointed to me and she smirked.. @@rebelblue It's not an exaggeration. Production values were so much higher in the 80's. There was still musicianship in the studios, though that was definitely on the decline by 1986.

Madonna has had so many, and I mean so many amazing songs!! But I think that this song along with Frozen, Secret, Cherish and Live to Tell are the best of them all!! This has always felt to me like such a feel good, happy and positive energy. From the lyrics, music to the video itself. I know as a 10 year old kid, that I wanted some lovely girl/lady to like me this genuine and loving way. I am still holding out hope that one of these days, she will come along!! 😊🙏🤞 Thank you Madonna, for the music of my youth. Especially in those moments when I needed a good distraction or just a catchy vibe!!
