Thanka for sharing. The approach looks so unscientific in comparison to Timbrel Vaults where there are multiple layers of toof tiles and the dome shape gives load bearing capacity. The iron girder is a proper eye sore.

If you maintain this correctly, it will last 500+ years, excluding the iron beam which will rust away in 20-30 years, so you should replace it with some teak wood.
