The last parameter in the command used seems to make the line ambient (global); earlier Sal voice lines are controlled through other means, though all appear to be activated by the 'root' script.

Good job. However I have some obsevations. 1. 7:17 It's not because you attacked pedestrian, it's because you drove on "instant death zone". 2. 9:38 In my Mafia this guy sometimes walks away just when Tommy reaches his place and sometimes you can wait more than 10 minutes and he won't stop going around car. I don't know what does it depend on. Also in my Mafia there's a bush in the place when the guard pees. 3. 10:18 This car doesn't drop gun when it explodes. One of those guys who appear later during missions does it. Before cutscene they are all invisible but you can kill them. Try to throw a grenade in 15th mission before killing Sergio in place when new guys arrive after you kill Sergio. 4. 10:40 In my mafia each car in the garage offers this view. 5. 17:28 This hangar on the left has hidden the same truck we drive but it's already loaded with those crates we steal. Can we somehow use it and avoid carrying crates and shooting?

crazy how Mafia 1 originally was being designed to have first person driving camera this game had better designed driving than most racing cars of the era

lmao Paulie tells Tommy that he'll get killed by them if he won't drive them away from the enemy car but when he got out the car Paulie just yelled at him to come back cause he and Sam are gonna die 😂😂

Running Man: guy with S&W can run out of ammo but it takes some time and also a bit od luck to survive that long Better get used to it: you can skip fighting part by rushing forward to the part where they start using guns and just shoot everybody - helpfull when you're trying 100 HP run Great Deal!: You can attack od hijack one od your own guys and start pretty funny friendly fire : ) Bon Appetit: if you hide your gun after cutscene during attack at Peppe's - gangsters ignore you completly and only keeps shooting at Don as long as you're unarmed Just for Relaxation: in the harbour part you can eliminate 2 grups of 3 gangsters near entrance one by one using baseball bat, no problem. This action obvoiusly prevents truck chase later on.

it's crazy how some of these NPCs actually either drive home or walk home, they are programmed to go to a certain house, they go to the door and disappear, another Mafia 1 content creator has a video on the alternative mission where you help 'big dick' and after the mission he actually walks back to his apartment, the door opens, he goes in and closes the door, that's some Red Dead Redemption 2 level of attention to detail.

Wow, I have been playing Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven for 14 years yet I don't know 80% of it. Lucas 6 advice is underrated. It's irritating to drive to Oakwood, then to Little Italy and then Downtown under the same checkpoint, however, driving to Oakwood and Downtown is the whole different game
