@@TommyLikeTom Yes the 1st was the best. Also it was way ahead of its time. Compared to gta 3 at that time it felt like real life back then. They should remaster it and open up the countryside more so much fun driving around there.

You could notice something senseless way before. Nobody noticed that Vito is going out of the mansion and steals expensive supercar from the driveway and then he comes back there in another car with Joe, who was supposed to be whacked

After seeing Joe driving Leo I think that’s what happened. Joe and Vito together killed Clemente and a bunch of his soldiers, wiped out half the Tongs, and killed Falcons and a bunch of his soldiers. They’re unstoppable together and extremely effective on their own so Leo and Frank would be stupid to kill either of them but they probably realized they cause trouble together so they were separated and told the other was dead so they’d never go looking for eachother.

And more accessible businesses, at least I think it should.

Unfortunaly, Vito payed the highest price for his mistakes losing his best friend (i know is sad but Joe is really dead at the end). The Mafia world got just one ending for everyone and is death. Tom Angelo was killed by Vito and Joe. Vito get killed depending on player's choice in Mafia 3. And that's how it goes (i don't played Mafia 3 yet so i don't know if Lincoln Clay die in the end).

These are the endings that were supposed to be in the original game 9 years ago. All these things you said about Mafia III would have been based on one of these endings anyway so it all makes sense

You know what's also hilarious? Bruno's guys didn't searched Vito on the entrance and Bruno still has these 55k on his desk. Somebody like him keeps his money in well-protected safe, but that's only my opinion. To make this even more funny, 55k$ is equivalent to modern ~600k in purchasing power. It is possible because Mafia 3 has got nothing to do with Mafia 2. And by texts that were hidden in game is this one of four true ends of the game.

What i suspect that they were planning for whole different events and planned for different endings but didnt find the thing suitable and amde the idea in mafia 3 ,so i guess maybe killing leo and vinci was an option ,but they put leo in mafia 3 as a consequence for the supposed ending of mafia 2 ,and leo appears only once and at the ending of the game ,so this might be an indicator that they werent planning to put leo somwhere in mafia 3 and maybe the main reason they did it was to show us that joe maybe alive ,i dont know about it but its just an opinion

@@JohnDonovan1968 I'm not comparing. I was sarcastically pointing out that 2k is owned by Take 2 interactive which owns Rockstar, who makes GTA. I believe Take 2 has been sabotaging the mafia series in order to keep GTA as the only open world crime series with that much detail and content. There was so much cut quality content in Mafia 2 that it would have easily been one of the greatest open world games, it had side missions, melee weapons more chapters and endings. And it ended up getting stripped down to what we got with the official release, which was still a good game but the city was pretty lifeless. Also look at how the Mafia 1 remake stumbled out the blue when not a soul expected it. and to be honest most people wanted 2 remade with all the cut content. Take 2 knew that and decided to make 1 instead and inexplicably forced out an announcement knowing that the gameplay wasnt eady causing a delay for that then eventually the entire game gets pushed back a month. Take 2 knew that the Mafia series took a blow after 3 and the next one would be make or break. so instead of mafia 4 now, they give us the shitty remake/remaster trilogy with the 1 remake using hella assets from 3 featuring yet again another lifeless city, exercise me, "backdrop" s shitier version of the original mafia 2 and a slightly touched up 3 with all of its dlc. They used this to release Mafia 4 on next gen where it will be cucked in order to further fuel the GTA Online monster and then GTA 6. from a business standpoint it would make sense to allocate all detailed open world crime games to rockstar as they have that brand recognition with such titles already.
