Getting 100% of the achievements on this game was a pain. One glitch I got was trying to kill 30 people with proximity mines but it would not unlock. It eventually unlocked it 1 year later but still it was frustrating.

That proximity mine achievement caused me to uninstall the game only to get the achievement 3 years later.

The body clipping glitch from Mafia 3 works in the mafia definitive edition since they both have almost the same mechanics

I've only played this game once, but when I did I experienced at least two glitches. the first one was the reason that I stopped playing it: the game didn't save after a specific mission. there was no way to save the game after the mission was complete, which sucked. the other glitch was quite funny: I drove nearly into a river-thing but got my car stuck between the water and the wall that I had fallen from. it took a little bit but the car began spinning out from beneath Lincoln and ended up flying around in the air, all the while Lincoln was holding his arms above his head and his hands were in a very uncomfortable position.

They story, voice acting, and 1960s setting was fantastic, but sadly the gameplay was repetitive.

@@MegamanXfan21xx Tbh tho that's basically all the mafia games. It's just that the story is so good in them that we don't pay attention to how truly bad the gameplay is, except for the driving I think they all did that right with how realistic the simulation driving can be

I'm so damn excited. This game to me is a unfinished masterpiece and so does the rest of the trilogy. This is one of my favorite of the games even though it was awful at launch.

I figured out you could get inside the theme park with the first glitch all you have to do is walk up to the ticket booths and do what he says in the video and do the same after walking out of the ticket booth and walking up to the gates

In the unpatched version there is actually an open gate somewhere further down the plantation fence so that's another method right there XD There is also a glitch that can cause brutal car physics glitches and another one which allows you to enter interiors using 2 cars aaand... floating cop cars :3 I have some raw recording from PS4 of those uploaded to my channel if you're interested

There's another one you can do even today, but it requires having Downtown unlocked, so that's at least 4 territories you have to take over first. IIRC, it's for the extortion racket. You follow a car back to the warehouse (or go there directly if you know where it is), deal with everyone inside, take the $10k cash pile, drive a short distance away, come back, and the cash pile will have respawned.

@@edwin99901 I had two perfect runs with no crashes but speed running all rackets should take about 8-10 hours of playing per play through for racket boss and informant trophies and the family achievement you have to distribute rackets equally till end of game and do the under bosses side missions without crashing this is not affected by if the game has previously crashed in this play through I just can’t crash once you have started the side missions

I had once a funny glitch while I was escorting the dude with his broken hand, for some reason I left the vehicle I was driving and decided to hijack another one but for some reason instead of hijacking lincoln clay just sat next to the driver and didn't do nothing while the driver started to drive normally like nothing happened while the due with the bronken hand was left on foot. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qtiAqZyasqmVYGg.html Btw nice intro!

oof. this game was such a waste. it had an amazing story and an astonishingly accurate depiction of new orleans in 1968. but the gameplay was just not enough.

I've played Mafia 3 like twice and while I've enjoyed the game I think the game really only has a handful of moments that are 10/10 while the rest is 6/10. if I go back for another playthrough I'll try & give these glitches a shot to enhance my experience.

I kinda love this game tbh. It's messy and repetitive in some aspects, true. But the story, setting, gameplay and soundtrack are all great in my opinion.
