I went for the stealth method as everyone else seems to be uploading a shootout. The stealth method makes this mission incredibly easy!

stealth was so easy it's disappointing. it's a shame they haven't added a segment when you have to leave the airport after letting Frank go

Got chills at the first scene because it reminded me of Niko meeting Dimitri before killing Faustin. Same energy, but it's always cloudy in the GTA IV scene.

@@fast_but_reckless9052 It's the perfect game. Diverse activities, that classic dreary feel that was in GTA III, that atmosphere of which makes it fun to investigate urban legends like Ratman. It had things that were downgraded in GTA V. GTA V is still great, but there was something special about the GTA IV era.

Morello wore a black suit just for this one occasion. Also the convo between him and Salieri was a really nice touch. It also confirms Salieri's name is Ennio (it was first hinted in M2 loading tips)

I want a mafia game with this level of storytelling but have an open world. I watched a lot of early gameplay and interviews for mafia 2 what was promised would have been game defining what was delivered was a good story, but that's it. I have played Mafia since 2002. And during that time, it was revolutionary, but the gaming landscape has changed.

I literally didnt know what i was doing when i was playing this and thought I had to get to Frank quickly so I literally just ran through the airport and then ran past all the guys shooting at me until I got to the hangar. I literally had one tiny piece of health left when I walked in lol. Did what took several mins in this video in 30 seconds. Kind of wish I actually played the mission out.

Tommy Angelo always had a good heart. Sparing Frank like that. Tommy Really was kind of thrown into the life when he picked up Sam and Paulie in his taxi. Tommy was never really a true mafioso like Paulie and Sam who were kind of bloodthirsty and wanted power !

The original games character models were clearly intended to be the guys from goodfellas, but it was toned down for the final release. Funnily enough, Paul’s son Mike voiced Tommy in the original game, and Paul was the acting coach for Don Dipetta whom played Sam in the remake.

@@Toyota-Coaster hear the grinding noises when he changes gear? Modern cars have a ring beetween the engagement mechanism of gears to make manual shifting seamless. It's called synchromesh. Before that you have to Rev match, press clutch, disingage gear, Rev match, press clutch engage etc. I learnt to do it with an old FIAT truck from the early 50s. Tommy here can't do it for shit and you can hear it in the way he shifts

@@Toyota-Coaster non-mesh is ancient. Requires WAY more skills than a synchromesh. The only advantage is that it's cheaper, more durable (less parts) and can take a beating. But it's basically a relic. Some racing cars have something similar called Dog-Box but it's different, it just matches the difficulty of using it. Some big mine trucks might still use it, but as I said, it's ancient and obsolete. It's pratically the first type of manual transmission ever made for the mass produced car. Lot and lot of grinding and horrible mechanical noises if you aren't skilled in it. It's why cars were considered "non-women" things back then. A modern manual transmission is basically better in everything but sturdiness and max mechanical power than can be transmitted trough it. Althoufh a non synchro is sooo satisfying to use when you manage to get proficient to it lol

The game itself is good, but the ending to this mission definitely felt watered down compared to the original. There was hardly any relationship built between Frank and Tommy prior to this mission, unlike the original where he would occasionally give Tommy advice and act as a friend, he was much more likable. In this, the conversation between them in the hangar holds absolutely no weight or value as he just wasn't likable at all and because there was hardly any relationship built between the two characters. The player has to not want Tommy to shoot him. Watch this mission on the original game, the dialogue, the music, everything ties together perfectly.

@@Oxygen97 Agreed, I remember that first time I played original game from 2002 and got to this part, it was very touching. In remake, it looks very hollow. Plus in the original game, Salieri didnt want to have Frank's wife and daughter killed, he even tried to provide for them after Franks death (both the alleged and then the real one in ending). Overall, Salieri's persona changed drastically in remake towards much more vile character. However, I really like part with Morello on funeral in this remake, it actually showed his brighter (albeit diminutive) side
