This guy didn’t flip until he got sentenced to 45 years. That’s the one and only reason he flipped. He is still the same ruthless, remorseless person he was back then. Nothing about him changed. He just saw an opportunity for another racket and to get out of his sentence.
@franklinmohlala955
@franklinmohlala955 3 жыл бұрын
He wanted to flip after he was found guilty on his third trial. He won two trials before and Nicky thought they will win again. When they lost, he wanted to flip and the FBI said he should wait for his sentence to start talking. He got 45 and they started talking afterwards

+Super muscle Great book. I really wish it would be made into a big budget film. It's interesting how Leonetti's cousin Chris Scarfo wanted nothing to do with Cosa Nostra. He even changed his last name to distance himself from his father and that life. Meanwhile, his brother Nicky Jr. couldn't distance himself. Leonetti even told him to leave it but he didn't listen. He joined the Luccheses and recently he was sentence to, I think, 30 yrs in prison.

His book was really good. But at the same time I think at this point he’s taking it too far with the whole blacked out identity and altered voice still after all these years. I know this was 7 years ago but he did a Vlad interview last year and did the same thing so he’s still doing it. If Sammy Gravano can walk around he can too. Sammy was an underboss as well and in a bigger family too.

@@anthonydelgrosso4818 you’re right my bad. I just thought of the “VAL” and subconsciously mixed them up. But tbh I always looked at Philly under Scarfo as one of the worst regimes in mob history. Yeah they killed a lot of ppl but with the stories that Tommy Del told in that documentary it made me laugh so hard. Especially with Scarfo thinking a horse planned to put him into branches lol. I may be biased but I think the Chicago Outfit and Genovese family were the smartest out of everyone. Yeah Carlo was smart but his family weren’t all thinkers. Especially the Gotti and Gaggi crews minus Dominic cuz he had some sense. But with Chicago they had cars that had license plate flippers, as well as panels that flipped having guns behind them. Lot of their hits were tactical. Any of the families used crash cars or backup shooters and in the case of Castellano they had Russian disguises. But that was it. Gemini method and everything worked but it wasn’t that sophisticated.
