Everybody keeps blaming Tommy for killing Counselor's son, when in reality it was Paulie who killed him after Tommy hesitated.

If you kill the guy that calls the cops in the phone booth they don't arrive at the airport at the end of the mission.

There is a man hugging a woman in the building with Frank's family. If you shoot the man in the head, the woman will attempt to punch you to death. This is the only woman in the entire game who is hostile. Similarly, if you shoot the woman, the man will do the same thing.

9:33 I think its possible to park close to Frank's house but not close enough to trigger the cutscene. Then walk up but still far away and shoot to puncture the tires on the police car. This will slow that car down after the cutscene and its quite funny. Just don't shoot the tire off or explode the car otherwise the car will be at 100% condition after the cutscene. This tire shooting trick also works in the early Clark motel mission and the getaway thief will be slowed down.

This game was ahead of its time, the realism, the graphics, no words. OLD GAMES ARE WAY BETTER than new ones

Tommy's 2nd biggest mistake

Well, since Frank has questioned Tommy's loyalty to the Mafia at the beginning of this game, Frank's fallout with the Salleri's mafia is different in the Omerta chapter. Morello harassed his family into turning over Salleri's books.

God damn it, just played this mission and it is most emotional moment in the game. I hope Tommy and Frank will meet each other again and drink some whiskey.

This mission was the bane of my existence when I was 15. Such a difficult game but so great!

When I let Frank go I knew that they will get him anyway and I also knew that I just signed my own death warrant - this was truly a heartbreaking moment!! What a masterpiece of a game!

Tom should have faked an injury to make it look like Frank put up a fight before being put down but not before being crippled enough to tell Tom where the books were.

Just look at recoils of that tommy gun!

Good video! The story is fantastic so far, I can't wait to watch the next mission. The game's combat is much more enjoyable and interesting compared to modern third-person shooters, where the cover system basically takes away a lot of the fun of not knowing where the enemies are. The ammunition system is realistic and well done, although just a tiny feature it helps the immersion. You have to be strategic about whether you want to reload, and waste the rest of the clip, or risk not reloading and running out into the open only to run out of your clip and eat lead. I feel like modern third-person shooters have shared elements and features that they are expected to have, in order to aid the players, but lowering the realism and immersion of the game world in the process.

Did you get more health on PC? I owned that but only played my PS2 copy. 28:24 I'm sure that would've taken about 18 health off being hit like that.

13:45 in all the many times i played this game 10 years ago, i never thought of opening that door to get a better look inside...

In the mission 'Just for Relaxation' a hearse arrives for Ralph and you can see it when you walk out from the bar. Inside that hearse perhaps it's Frank's body because, around that time was when Frank was found and it's the last mission you do for Don Salieri.

When you find Frank's family, there is a guy on the telephone who's ringing the cops. If you let him speak, cops will eventually arrive at the front gate of the airport. However, if you kill him before he has a chance to finish his phone call, then no cops will arrive. But if you go around the airport (turn left from front gate) and look carefully, the cops are actually waiting inside their car on the road just outside the airport.

I am playing this again ahead of Remake for hype. Today I done that mission and I killed all the guys in the hanger with truck like John Wick kill bad guys with his car. It's so satisfying. I love this game so much and I can't wait for Remake to come out in August.

Why frank

As an old ba**rd, Im a fan of 80's and 90's, i love playing older games they are my fav such like CS, Mohaa, Wolf, GTA, etc. but why even if i know what this game Mafia is... i started playing only just a couple days ago? Dont know why Mafia not conviced me in the past... ehh what i lost back then. But better later than never. Damn, catch me put me in a dungeon and torture me. This game is amazing!

The remake did this mission, not just this mission, the entire game DIRTY. Its such an awfull, lets turn into a generic action shooter game remake, this was a masterpiece and this mission was so amazing. I hate that many people will have the remake as their first Mafia experience and think that that shit is good

You can get a crowbar from a mechanic at the airport who drives up in a truck and runs into the hangar. It is useful for beating up Big Stan in the last part of the mission.

Definitive Edition change a lot about this scene.

This is much better than the remake mission.

When you reach Frank's family, kill the guy calling police in the phonebooth. If you do it before he finishes the call, no police will come after you. Otherwise, they will be all over the place.

It's nice to blow up the V16 police car with a shotgun when it drives off almost hitting you (at the airport)
