Procrastination is worse than being lazy. When you're lazy, you do move, but slowly. When you're procrastinating, you don't move, you keep postponing and you only start moving once it's too late.

Johnny Natrium you think a blind old man that literally can shuffle a deck and trick you by the texture of the cards, has to lie to YOU? Who tf are YOU that he would have to lie ?
@JohnnyNatrium
@JohnnyNatrium 4 жыл бұрын
@@malikh7761 Well cause it's one thing to be an amazingly talented card magician, but the guy, like many magicians, clearly wants to be seen as more. He gets a black belt, he now wants mafia-story style cred to be taken more seriously. He does what old men do. He tells tall tales. Actually it also reminds me a bit of those guys that get out of prison and actually get interviews where they talk about how they constantly karate-chopped groups of 10 people all on their own, while they were just "minding their business". None of these exciting stories have ever been corroborated nor would you find anything about it on his wiki or bio or anything. It's no surprise of course, since you couldn't find a casino where they blackjack with just one deck. And you'll notice he can 'only' do his tricks with one deck. A very talented man in his field, but his stories to me are just a distraction like I have to humour him by listening to them. On the other hand the stories seem to be what makes at least 90% of his fans be so passionate about him as to watch interviews. So maybe that's why he tells them.

Love how he screwed up one trick by missing one card, then knew immediately he was one card too short and not long, then explained exactly how he had fucked it up. It's not that he "felt" it. Actually he didn't feel it, that's the reason he missed the riffle stacking with one card. He should have held back 4 cards but held back 5. When he missed the deal with one card, there's only one explanation for it. Riffle stacking is very basic, and tbh not that hard.

This guy is just absolutely amazing. To anyone that has a disability this is proof that it doesn't mean it has to hold you back and you can be the best in the world at anything if you don't hold yourself back and use everything you have and believe in yourself. Some of the most talented people in the world have a disability and to everyone that doesn't have a disability this is proud that you can also do anything

The lessons I took from the video: 1.) Never give up! 2.) No excuses, no matter what! 3.) Don't be lazy, do not procrastinate! Great interview again, I really like your style of interviewing people, Pat. You ask the right questions, always really listen to the person and you always do this in a very respectful manner. Keep up the good work! Greetings from Germany 🙂👍

Mr. Turner. I was watching this interview with a deck of cards in my hands and just doing Turner Second deals. At one point in the video, you discussed how your son was named; Aca Spades. For some reason, during your discussing, I decided to flip a card face up, and then kept face down dealing. I looked down and the card was the Ace of Spades. Wow. I told my wife and she said I should let you know. There is magic in the world. I use your techniques for bottom dealing as well and have been working on it for around 15 years. Thank you and I think you are a magnificent person. Stay safe. JD

Patrick, you talked about multi dimensional and inspirational and those words sum up your interviews. You connect on many different levels and your interview style inspires while being very thought provoking. It’s almost hard to find the right words to express the connections you make while entertaining us and teaching us simultaneously. Valuetainment is a perfect description for what you deliver. Just like the guests you bring on are legends in their own right, your are as well. I’m impressed with and appreciate your depth and insight you have and your ability to paint powerful messages out of your conversations with others. They are works of art. Every show I’ve watched of yours has been interesting and I never feel like time spent watching your show is a waste of time. My most valuable possession I have is time and it takes brilliance for me to respect someone to the point I gladly give it freely. You find the greatness in everything you do. Bar none your on the level with any of the top interviewers of my lifetime.

First of all Patrick Ben-David is one heck of an interviewer. Knows when to ask questions and clarify from time to time but lets his guest do the talking, thanks so much. When I first looked at Richard I kept asking is there something wrong with this guys eyes. I said no way this guy is blind and does what he does with these cards . . . no way!. But when he said he was legally blind since a very young age, I about hit the floor. No way! From start to finish this was an interview that held your attention, interest and wanting to know more. Thanks so much for this download, this was a gem.
