"Under God" was ADDED to the Pledge of Alliegience in 1954. The Pledge was written by a Babtist Minister who Intentionaly left out Religion in the Pledge to stand away from the English King who went after other Christian Sects and All other Religions. In God We Trust was added to Money also.

-Here is one thing I will add: I fly for an all-cargo airline that shall remain nameless. At my airline, 80% of the pilots came straight from the military. I'm part of the 20% that did NOT. And at my airline, talk among pilots in the crew room, the crew bus, and in the cockpit is rampant with politics. This is VERY bad, since we have to work together effectively as a team in order to successfully move the boxes. If there is a breakdown in communication and/or animosity in the cockpit, this can become a dangerous situation because now we are not working as a team. Later this month I am going to training. I am upgrading to Captain, and on the first day I intend to tell the instructors that if there is ANY political talk AT ALL, I am going to ask them politely to stop. If they argue with me at all I am going to tell them to get the hell out of my training event. And this includes during breaks during the simulator periods. To tell you how bad it has gotten at this company? The crew room used to have about a dozen flat screen monitors that could tell the news, sports, and the internal company channel, which never was shown. Instead, we had the news channels on incessantly. They had to remove these monitors because they had several instances where 50+ year old men in pilots uniforms (adult professionals) got into FIST FIGHTS in the crew room over whether Fox Network or CNN would be shown on a particular screen.....! A couple of guys actually got fired and lost their pensions over this stupid issue! You can talk all you want to me about the freedom of speech, something I totally agree with, but there is no right that is ABSOLUTE. In this situation I defer to one of the two things my dad taught me: "In the workplace and at the dinner table, there should never be any discussion of religion or politics", and he was right. Great video, but READ THE ABOVE- PS: The second thing my dad taught me was "Democracy ends at the front fucking door!" And I intend to say both things if I get an argument from some pilot who simply cannot leave politics at home.

I've seen this before but this is the first time I caught somebody in the crowd saying something. I couldn't quite make it out, and at first I thought it was a MAGA complaining about the comedian again, but I think it was somebody who was in the group that the beer thrower was in, and although it's hard to make out all the words, I think he said "I am NEVER going out with you people again!" If that's what it was, good for him! Shame those violent Trumpers.
