I love all the nuances of Dan’s vocals - the way he switches up his “power voice” with softer gentler nuances and his “metal ekements” to express emotion and emphasis in the words . No one does it like Dan!

So agree. I love his version of this song. It is a powerful and a more exciting version! As it should be giving the meaning of the song. Just the way he changes his tone intentionally on the words "peace" and "let all within us" was genius and gives it meaning..

I never thought I would be listening to metal music at the age of 66. Then he came in! I never thought there would be someone I could "support" after Bon Jovi! Super talent given by God! I hope I can listen to it "live" one day! I read somewhere that it was mocked that he has many fans from the older age group! Maybe we can no longer enjoy quality music? /I hope it's not banned!/ It has a particularly good effect on my heart function! I became addicted!🤗

Yep, Dan can do it! A lot of people don’t like the growl, and I had problems with it for a while. I’ll be honest with you. But overall, it’s a beautiful song and Dan does it justice. Let’s not forget Victor the guitar nerd, he did an amazing job and playing in this song.

Thanks for playing this! It’s not my favorite of his Christmas songs (that’s Angels We Have Heard on High), but especially near the end, when he shifts up, his passion and gorgeous voice are phenomenal. Dan is always surprising - and I totally agree, many of my favorite Dan songs are these great metal arrangements of non-metal songs. I really love them, and his musical creativity really shines. I enjoyed your comments!

Absolutely loved your reaction! It's unfathomable to me how Dan weaves the music in such a way that even foes unite. He's definitely extraordinary. Hopefully next holiday season my family will allow me to play Dan's songs instead of their usual repertoire. Fantastic comments, subbing for more Dan.

Many thanks for your reaction to the amazing Dan Vasc. You really need to hear his newest release of My Heart Will Go On, a Celine cover from the movie Titanic. Believe me, it’s not a slow sad song, Dan made it a epic head banger. I guarantee, you won’t be disappointed! If you want growls, check out his poker face cover, again he takes this song to a whole new level.

@@Darkmage4 Sorry, I apparently was brain dead for awhile. I remember now, that’s the first time I saw you 😀. Just so you know, never judge Dan by the song or the band. He almost always powers up a song and makes it metal. There are several exceptions, when he likes the original, the artist or the band. In those cases, he keeps it close to the original. Thanks again for your reaction!
