Magic Arena on an M1 MacBook Pro (2020)

Күн бұрынThis video is a bit different than my usual content. Here I'm checking out Magic: The Gathering Arena on my new MacBook Pro with the M1 processor. I am by no means a great Magic player, but I thought some folks might want to see how the M1 Macs handle Arena. Enjoy!
Stay tuned for more tests of the M1 Mac, including how Audio Units from iPad are working with it.

The only issue I’ve had is if I run it full screen on the built in display I can’t click on anything. Full screen on the external display works fine.

Be aware, full screen only works with an external monitor!

You are lucky you have the "Full Screen" option. Most Mac Players DO NOT have the full screen option.

Shortly after I made this I figured out that it was only working because I was using an external monitor....

Does it work for Mac? It would I gave to go through virtual desktop?

@@MobileMusicMakeryes I believe you have to use Parallels. Maybe a detailed review on Parallels to run MTGO would be a great video idea

why I can't have the graphic option for fullscreen... I have the same Macbook -.-

They changed it with the update. If you have an external display it might work.

Is EpicGames and Mtga optimised for arm or u use Rosetta ?

It runs through Rosetta 2, but it works pretty well.

It's definitely not ideal, but for those of us that own Macs for video or music production, it's nice to be able to play finally without having to go over to a gaming computer. If you want High FPS and the best quality, stick to a windows machine with a good graphics card, for sure.
