Great video (and collection)! I love the markings you showed on the Mind Reader deck -- the A I got right away, natch, but it took me a real minute to locate the spade! Have you ever done a video on 10 best propless (or nearly so) mentalism tricks?

The Red Tour editions were the ones initially given to VIPs, however as they were running low on the Black Eye deck, they swapped them towards the end of the tour, so that VIPs now got the black deck and you could buy the red deck

Really nice cards from the looks. (I don't have any DB deck, though, and probably won't change that anytime soon.) Shin Dong suggested top 10 of card producers, but I think that more specific top 10 of your favorite card designers and showcasing design of a few (or more if you like) of her or his deck for each of the designers could be even more interesting. Magicians/Cardists and/or magic companies are what decks are usually famed or remembered by, but even if designers may not always be the ones bringing core ideas of the design concept, they're always the ones making such idea transform into real stuff that you can (hopefully) pleasingly look at. Therefore I think they deserve more spotlight.

I have an amazing David Blaine story. On June 7, 2017 I went and saw one of David Blaine's shows on his tour in Spokane, Washington. My family and I made it in Spokane, but we had missed a turn so we had to take a detour. We stopped at a four way stop, and out of the corner of my eye I saw David Blaine get into a Jaguar. My mom who was driving tailed the Jaguar until it pulled over. We saw David Blaine get out of the Jaguar so I get out and I said "Hey" David peers over his shoulder to look at me and he says "hello." Then I said shyly "I am big fan of your work," and David says "thank you" and I give him a light fist bump. I asked if he would like to sign one of my cards, he says that he would be right back to put his stuff away in his tour bus. David Blaine comes back and he took the ace of spades from my deck and he signs To Spencer Elvis and his signature. He asked if I had a camera on my phone if I wanted to pose for pictures, but I had forgotten my phone, and David Blaine replies in his soothing voice "Well Shit" as if he was surprised that I am one of the few teenagers who isn't attached to their phone, but my mom was taking pictures of the event in the distance. And I said "thank you" and I saw David Blaine walking back to his tour bus. That is the story of how I met David Blaine.

Although I love the handling and feel of the White Lion B & Tour Series, I wish I had a black deck with those same properties, The Black Lions are more visually appealing to me, both the black and red, but they would be better to suit my everyday needs if they felt more like the White Lion’s. I wonder if I could make that sound any more confusing. Haha. Blaine is also one of my more favored illusionists and him being from basically my backyard in NYC makes him the hometown hero.

I'd like to put it out there that the black lion seconds would have to be my personal #1 because you get hella quality for $5...freaking steal

Anyone else just notice the revealed card on the touch case of the black lions? I knew there was one on the white lions before but finding the one on the black lion was fun.

Gold foil gator backs. Don't know if you've ever held a deck of those but they're absolutely gorgeous

Gator Backs? why too expensive for my wallet.... do not own a David Blaine deck-yet!!!! White lions didn't even make the cut? They are the best feeling David Blaine cards to me, better than silver split spades or the gatorbacks. The black lions were such a downgrade from those, but it didn't stop me from getting 74

What about the Gold Gator backs? I thought the Silver Split Spades were the worst, they look dull in bad lighting as opposed to shiny. IMO the OG split spades were the best ever, there was something during that time that the USPC was using some kind of chemical additive that made the cards last for a long time and they can be abused and still retain their shape. The USPC ended up going with some environmentally additive in the cards that we have today which are still good, but nothing like the OG Split Spades.
