We are bringing you a new tutorial every month.
This month we show how to do the magic slide.
If you already know soul and powerslide, magic is relatively easy to learn, and is very powerful and safe when mastered.
We do recommend learning it if you are an advanced skater.

Wish I had this when I was first practicing the magic slide! Your tip about keeping the soul initiation narrow and leaning back into the trailing foot took me so many tries to figure out by myself 😅

Great tutorial. I have Soul slide in my arsenal. Not Powerslide however. How does knowing Powerslide help with Magic Slide? Since you mentioned that as a requirement in the tutorial

Powerslide helps with magic slide as it can be an entry for a magic from backwards skating! Moreover, powerslide being the first slide in the inside edge slides family, it is a corner stone to learn all further inside edge slides
