Күн бұрынLet's Play MTG Arena here in 2021 with a brand new, Free to Play account! I have played Magic the Gathering since Unlimited, off and on for years. I haven't played in a while, but this new Dungeons and Dragons based set has me interested to play, so I thought I'd try it here! I have played some MTG Arena back in Beta and really enjoyed it, but didn't get very far. Now I'm ready to crack some packs and build some decks and see what happens!

Dr. Incompetent is a college professor by day and gamer by night (and day). He has been playing games since his first ATARI, got hooked on PITFALL 2 and never looked back. He has been playing and collecting games for decades and hopes to share his knowledge with you. At one point he had over 700 NES games and 20 gaming systems from old to new. He focuses mainly on RPGs, Strategy games, Simulations, ARPGs, and... well he plays pretty much everything ;) He is a published author and now is working to develop a YT channel and Twitch project. @@DrIncompetent if you are willing can you maje a chandra themed deck (mono red with at least one copy of her nonplaneswalker cards and spells and creatures referencing her like chandras Phoenix)

It's a great game! Yeah, it's not super hard to focus and make a decent deck, even free to play, which is fantastic.

It's such a great way to get into the game for free and see if you like it, Rick! It costs a good amount in physical format, so this is a nice relief haha

Damn, I miss playing mtg in person, but it was bad for the wallet lol. Mtg arena is fun, but it's not the same flow as the real game

I like it better in person, too--but MtG Arena can be played on the cheap! So I'm in for my MtG fix haha.

Why can I not play the confront the assault card

That spell can only be cast if a creature is attacking you--so it's an Instant, like a reaction, that you can play to surprise someone who tries to attack you with a creature.

Why did the bruiser left the cat with 1 hp/toughness after blocking? It was supposed to kill the cat

Oh, this is because I blocked with two creatures. He gets to choose which takes damage first and he chose the Shrine Keeper, which had 2 toughness. That means the keeper takes 2 of the damage and the Bruiser does 3, so there is only one damage left over for the cat who has 2 toughness, so it goes to 1 health and lives. I hope this makes sense!
