It’s crazy that Walgate allowed 3 runs in 6 innings and it’s by far the worst day he’s had this season. As I said this Magic team is STRIKINGLY similar to the 2020 Gators. They’re winning the World Series.

He’s definitely good he’s only gonna improve but the run production is ifffy they need to start racking cuz you will not beat the mallards or diamondbacks if u don’t hit they all score runs!!

@@ericrizley4185 idk, even if the offense is very spotty (thanks for staying in the lineup Aigner), if the Cats couldn’t score against him I don’t see why the Mallards or D-backs will. We’ll see.

I wouldn’t count out Knorp not being able to score runs. Cobras had a cy young last year and a really good #2 in Behen and they got ran off the field in the WS and their offense was prolly a little better. Think the magic could go to the WS for sure. But counting out Knorp is a stretch for me

Absolutely, and Walgate at only 15 years old (I believe) is a beast on the Mound. Has the presence of a Prime Randy Johnson😂 but seriously he’s gonna be nastyy for a long time in this league

I got a cool suggestion. Since MLW is growing and the personalities are incredible. When the Mallards and the Wildcats or playing TC3 and Kyle should bring in someone else to do the pregame show. Would be cool to see people like Warda Dan and drew giving insight on the upcoming game. Love y’all MLW

SPOILERS!!! The Magic are legit. If JP didn't hit a walk off in game 1 they would've swept. These two rookies are amazing. As for the Cats, they don't have much to worry about. They have a lot more experience in big games than any other AL team which gives them an advantage come playoff time. I'd say these two teams are playoff locks with the Preds and Cobs battling for the 3 seed.

Goes both ways though, if JP doesn’t choke the throw or throws home in G2 then wildcats could have won that one as well and won the series. Either way, Magic are def legit and this series was amazing!! Can’t wait to see these two teams meet again

The Magic continue to shove on the mound. In the long run, it’s better for RJ to be proven human now, rather than in the playoffs. Trevor was excellent on the mound and kept the line moving all day at the plate. Grant is really the only bat you have to fear, so they will need to identify an order that protects Grant and ensures he will get to swing every time instead of being given the free pass. Hopefully they figure that out soon.

One of the founder’s of the league as the manager of an elite team making the worlds worst trade with a league bottom feeder to trade back and take worse players? That isn’t suspicious to you?? The league is rigged. The founders knew the Magic had another bad season in them and they forced a horrible trade through to ensure that wouldn’t happen. Rigged

Most entertaining series of the year! Cool to see more about Grant. Super likeable guy and he seems to be mentoring RJ with little pep talks in big situations. That said...Magic could possibly use another hitter to be REALLY dangerous.

Kyle Schultz is the man!! He has created an awesome league/brand with MLW. The production of the entire season with the edits, stats, intro, highlights, so much that goes into these videos that makes it so fun, easy to watch, and entertaining that people don’t even think about. But it’s a lot of work to make wiffle ball so fun to watch. There’s a reason this league is the biggest Wiffle league in the world, and Kyle is the reason behind that. Kyle and Tommy are incredible with commentating as well, really is a cherry on top of the whole production. Love MLW!!

straight up electric series that had me yelling at the TV! the clutch comeback from the cats in game 1 was crazy. love the respect from miller to schultz. this one had it all. MLW is the best way to end a friday

One big recommendation for your league - add an extra bag on first base on the foul side. Allows the runner to go to one base while the fielder goes to the other. A lot safer for those close plays at first to avoid collisions. Most beer league softball leagues do this.

Walgate is out there messing with heads like Greg Maddux. Very smart pitcher. Studying and pitching methodically like Walgate does is the future of MLW. 72 is the limit and you can only put so much spin on it.

I have been looking forward to this series since it was announced last week. It was amazing! Both teams showed great pitching/hitting/defense/effort. This 100% felt like a playoff series. Given Walgate's dominance, Pearson's walkoff 3-run HR to end the first game might be the most shocking moment of the season so far, but Walgate bounced back in Game 3, and anyway the Wildcats are clearly the best hitting team in MLW. But the Magic are looking like the best team in MLW, they have an incredible pitching duo in Walgate and Bonham, and if they can get consistent hitting from someone besides Miller, look out. Congratulations to all involved!
