Just watched this and it brought tears to my eyes to hear Calvin say Amen. Also about the family gatherings. I loved the joy and cheer with the kids. When my kids were little it had to be quite because of my husband. So i missed this. I miss my parents. They both passed in 2006. 6 months apart. My mother in law passed November 2007. The day after my birthday. I divorced in 2009 and my oldest sister passed away in 2010. Yes i almost had a nervous breakdown. But God has shown me where they are and brought me throu my heartache. Im just praying my family can join together to celebrate this occasion together like we used to. So enjoy the family while you can. I love yourfamily

My dad is in Hospice House with cancer and they don't expect him to make it much longer. I pray every day for miracles, but I'm thankful that he knows our Lord Jesus Christ and is ready to go if the Lord does decide to call him to his heavenly home. He's been a missionary for 35 years and has been such a witness to so many people. And I'm thankful my parents brought me up in the ways of the Lord. I could not get through life as well if it wasn't for the blessings and love of Jesus Christ. I thought I was going to be alone this Christmas which I was okay with, but God had other plans. My best friend and I went to see my parents on Christmas Eve together at Hospice House. My mother is staying with my dad there. Then my friend, her mother, and brother invited me over for dinner for Christmas Eve night. This is also my parents 49th wedding anniversary. My mother's best friend called me Christmas Eve night and invited me to come to her house for Christmas Day and spend it with her and her family. We had a nice meal and a nice day together. And I had Christmas Dinner waiting in my outdoor refrigerator when I got home. And let me say encouraging word to you and all the Griffeth's family who puts out videos and who are involved and appear in videos from time to time, it's really helping me get through this Christmas and really are uplifting to me. I really believe it helps a lot of people. Merry Christmas.

Often we think of soldiers and others who do not get to spend Christmas with their families. I would also like to wish a Merry Christmas to those students out there as well, who cannot afford to make it back home either. I am currently a senior student about to graduate with my bachelor's degree in Marine Science, and due to the expense of having to fly all the way back to the mainland from Hawaii (which is where I attend University), I simply could not afford to be home this year. With this being said, watching Ellie and Jared celebrate the holidays has kept me feeling at home, and warm. Merry Christmas, friends!

With divorce in my family and people moving away and getting remarried, people changing, relationships changing, I've had to draw strength at Christmastime somehow to make it through. Even when we are together, someone always ends up fighting. It's hard when things change and accepting them and moving on. I have my own kids and I'm so grateful for them. They make each day/holiday a lot easier. You guys are truly lucky to have what you have. I can only imagine how it must feel.

Marry Christmas! In Norway we celebrate the entire Christmas on the 24th. I was so happy that my grandpa got to celebrate Christmas with us this year. He got a stroke at the end of May and it's really bad. He never gets to move home to my grandma again because he need help and to be looked after the entire day. But we had a great time together. He said it a million times that it was good to be home in his house with his whole family. Just love that man. Again I will wish you a marry christmas. I love watching you're vlogs.
