The show invited them and also invited the family of late amjad sabri (a very renowned Qawal of pakistan and also the son of sabri Qawal gulam farid sabri who was a legend himself), sabri family is a legendary Qawal family have written qawalos like bhar do jholi, tajdar e haram and many more, so the sister of amjad sabri in that show asked them that who are you we (the sabris) don’t know you and claimed that these 2 girls are trying to claim being sabri so people may think they’re related to us doing this for fame, so these 2 girls were obv new they were nervous they tried to clear they’re name that they too are from sabri linage and that is they’re surname thats why they’ve named themselves sabri sisters, so they’re introduction became more of an insult to them

Here in Pakistan, there is a sabri family known for their qawalis, like one in 'main hoon na''s Tum sa mil k dil ha jo haal qawali by late Amjad Sabri with Sonu Nigham. But these Sabri sisters are from a different Sabri family thats why they doubt their identity.

Have you heard "Blockbuster" by Coke Studio Pakistan yet? It's got a really energetic Punjabi vibe and some impressive music production. What's interesting is that the video is a single shot and apparently has the biggest set in Coke Studio history, featuring 450 extra artists and over 200 crew members! Definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of Coke Studio.

Sabri Sisters are from a cousin branch of the famous Sabri qawwal family of Karachi. Their grandfather was a brother of the superstar qawwal duo consisting of brothers Ghulam Farid Sabri and Maqbool Ahmad Sabri known as The Sabri Brothers. The Sabri Brothers were a phenomenon and made qawwali popular before Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan became famous. Maqbool Ahmad Sabri's late son Amjad Sabri was also a famous and extremely talented qawwal. Amjad Sabri's sister was invited to the same morning show where the Sabri Sisters were basically making their big debut or introduction or something similar and she denied any knowledge of who these young women were. So of course it created confusion among the general public - are these girls just using the famous Sabri name for publicity and getting ahead? The girls named themselves as Sabri Sisters because they actually do belong to the famous Sabri family and their name is an homage to their more famous cousins The Sabri Brothers. Why Amjad Sabri's sister denied familial relationship with these young women in such a pubic way is anybody's guess ( internal family disagreements/jealouses or the fact that women from qawwal families don't sing in public etc. etc.), but that morning show debacle has come across as petty and hurtful to these young women and easily disproved since the Sabri family is very well known.
