The Magical Princess Gigi was shown on Channel 10 Melbourne Australia back in 1987 and was the only country in the world to broadcast the English dub. Videos were salvaged from Vhs tapes my sister recorded back in the day for my Niece. Now I hope the whole world can enjoy a few episodes that have seem to be lost.

Yes, because forgetting you had a daughter is totally plausible, and happens to people all the time. My parents also forget they had me from time to time. :)))

The part where both the lady and man realizes and just says something like ' guess I forgot' makes me remember of the meme that says something like 'if you forgot, then it can't be important. 00:02:00 Gigi is surpingly mature here. I mean, for a kid to be this concerned about homework. For it to be one of the first things she thinks of, when adding funiture to her bedroom. Schoolwork is usually either an afterthought or only remembered after it already becomes nescessary.

Well I remember this show was also shown in Indonesia around 1987, and it was the English dub. This is why I am looking for the opening song. So memorable. Thank you for posting this!

it is shown until 2008 if i'm not mistaken, hell yeah the opening it's so memorable the English dub is worse than I imagine, fortunately Momo doesn't sound like a brat in Indonesian dub lol.
