Very fun vehicle. I have taken it to many bad roads and areas it never dissapont and pretty reliable. Drove it around 80k and sold it to my friend and he drove this to 230k till now and still running great like it used to

Best driving video i've seen about CR-V. No stupid music. Nice town also. Thank you. I was going to ask about gearbox compared to DSG. Is it much worse if you want to drive faster? How does it rev higher if there is no sport mode or manual shifter? The only auto gearbox I drove was a terrible smart for two with super lag and very nice Renault Clio EDC auto gearbox. Super fast and smooth.

the classic automatic transmission is indistinguishable from the modern dsg, choose what you like

This is a proper gearbox. Nothing like the ones found on small budget euro cars that you mention.

when i try to do the same "speed test" i can get rpm to 5 or something like that cuz the gear starts before that, or i have to press the accelerator all the way??

What about they'r auto gearbox, are they reliable? Its an dsg gearbox i think!

the transmission is reliable, with proper operation it will pass 250-300 thousand, the transmission is a classic automatic transmission

It's a torq converter/regular Auto gearbox no dual clutch stuff. Later CR-V models I fifth gen. so 2016-today use a CVT.

Have you noticed insane rear road noise on this Gen of CRV? I just bought my 10 and new tires and the road noise seems almost unbearable.

sound insulation is weak, you need to do additional sound insulation and it will be ok

@@magicautopro okay thank you, I honestly was just concerned with how much louder road noise was on this car compared to every other car I’ve driven but it seems like it’s normal/common. What are signs you’ve noticed that you need a differential flush? I’m getting this done on Friday as I just bought this car in June. New tires, trans flush, and diff flush done as of Friday next week. It’s a 2010 w 120k on it, what other maintenance would you recommend I do?

@SARKAZYMYT try using Michelin tires, they are soft and silent, also keep an eye on the oil level in the engine, it may burn out

@@magicautopro I actually got scammed by Google on some tires a few months ago and lost $800 on the new cross climate 2s by Michelin and had to go w the next best reviewed “quiet winter peaked all weather tires” the Vredestein a new market in the US. Im hoping they’re true to review but it’ll do for now. Thank you for the help!
