I haven’t used it in the parks yet (as my trip is in 12 days), but I love my MagicBand+! I have the pink 50th anniversary design, and I love tapping it to make it light up purple!

My father-in-law is buying us tickets for an upcoming February trip as a gift to us. Since it's something that he's putting on his own account will we not be able to use our magic bands on the upcoming trip? Or is there a way that he can just transfer tickets to our account? Also if we ever decide to take a trip to Disneyland can our magic bands be used for that, are being currently used for Disney world?

Just got mine in the mail & paired them! This video was super helpful! My question would be are our tickets & dining reservations already linked to the magic bands? Do I need to do that after pairing?

Once its Linked, Paired, etc...you are good to go. If dining and tickets are linked to your Disney account...then they will be linked to the bands. Thanks for watching/commenting!

Hi Nina, I just purchased my park tickets and they emailed me digital tickets while I wait for the psychical ones to arrive. I went ahead and linked and assigned tickets to Members of my party in the Disney experience app. How would I go about assigning the magicband+ to members of my party even though the tickets have already been assigned and activate the tap feature

Hi, I got my magic bands yesterday. The members of my party have them but how are we supposed to play our own game thing (the fab 50) if each member of the party doesn’t have a Disney accounts ( an account with a password and stuff that they can log into to Disney play app with). How do I make the accounts or add on to the account.

That is the negative to all of this...everyone NEEDS a Disney Play App Account to play OR just take turns and pass 1-2 phones around. My kids just use my phone/app. You also don't have to play the game, just use the bands and listen. Thanks for watching/commenting!

Maybe this is answered somewhere but I have 3 kids, 2 of which have their own Disney account so no issue but my youngest is 13 and his account is managed by me without his own due to age. How do you connect them via Bluetooth to their phone without an account on it? Sign into my Disney account that I manage his with? You mention pairing all to your phone for your kids, do you get same functions all being on yours? They couldn’t collect their own bounty via Play app? Thanks!

You can ADD them to your account and they can use your Log-in and password. If you want them to have OWN Play App for purposes of the Bounty...then they need OWN accounts. Mine just use my account as I personally don't care if they collect my Bounties. Thanks for watching/commenting!

I just got back with having drama without ours . Please know that it takes 7-10 days for delivery and it doesn’t tell You that until after you pay for it. I had to purchase bands at the park since our order hadn’t arrived in time. I did not have any charging situations, and kept a full charge(stayed in the green) for the six hours we were in the park. I figured out the bands last minute. The bands will buzz when it detects a statue (this can happen 10 feet away or closer). Anyway, when it does, stay on that spot and wave five times to activate the statue and to collect it for the app scavenger hunt. The apps have some fun cartoons for the 50th anniversary hunt that my tot really liked. I thought I’d share with you since your videos have helped me and my family a lot for our recent trip. Thank you for it!!

Also, it’s actually a speaker by the statue that’s making the sounds. It will change colors to the actual fireworks display. Also after the Guardians ride it will light up.

I'm trying to get my family's bands through the app but for some reason when I go to my profile then magic bands there isn't an option to go to the site. Do you have to be so many days out from your trip? Is there another avenue on the app to get the discount? Thanks

I’m so gonna order some for my parents and I, but do we have to select in the app which band goes to who? Cause I have a Disney Experience app account with my parents profiles in there as well. So would I have to do that for them, or is that only if I order them from the site and not through the app.

I linked them to my Disney Exp App. Is there anything else I need to do, or am I good to go when I go to enter park and or tap in for my Lightening Lanes? Also even though there in my party for when we do lightening lanes, my parents would have to tap in with there bands right?

I ordered all of our magic band plus back on July 27th the day they came out, we have not received any of them. We called them 3 days ago and they said they are filling the order based on when people are going but it said they will ship within 10 days when I ordered. The next day I got an email that they shipped 2 of the 9 I ordered. They said there was no shortage so why don't I have them?

Thank you so much for this video. We followed your instructions to set up and pair our bands successfully. We are staying at a Disney resort so they came linked to my account just like you said. It's crazy to spend all this money and they don't give instructions. We had to call to get my grandkids off my control of the magic bands and onto their parents phones. I have learned so much from your videos.. So much has changed since I was last at Disney. I grew up there and I was 8 when it opened. It was so much cheaper back then!!! Thanks again

🤞Fingers crossed that my new mb+ arrives in time. It's shipped, but tracking shows it not close. 4 days of mail delivery before I leave. I have to be on my way to the airport long before mail will arrive on travel day. I'd like to charge & update from home if possible.

Also, My tot is three years old and it fit her well. It can actually go smaller than the size I had for her. Also also: I did not know about the braces to keep the band locked. Mine kept falling off when I’d take my backpack on and off. I lost it at one point and Disney cast members fortunately found it. Anyway, I used two hair ties and looped them together. I kept an “x” on each side of the watch face and made sure the band braces both sides of the watch band. I wish I could send you a picture. Anyway again, I was able to catch it before it would completely fall off and get lost. It’s not super secure like the brace, but it did the trick for me at a last minute situation. Thanks again!

So my husband has his own account, which is linked to mine. While linking his band...it did automatically link to his account. I could have also linked directly to his account using his email/password. I do prefer that we only have ONE family account but due to the Disney Play App...he has his own.
