Great video of examples and also the discussion on "cheating". I agree with your view on it. I used to be against it when I found out lots of famous people were using it, but maybe that was because I felt they were making lots of money for skills they didn't actually have... but like you said, as a production tool, editing for clients, and honestly even fully correcting lack of skills for a humble artist or song/album venture, I really don't see a problem with it. Of course, it would be great if everyone could sing perfect, and all songs that we loved and respected were "authentic" to the core, but we are living in a very interesting world these days.... gasp to that reality.... Great video and glad to see you are still doing your thing many years after finding some of your videos in past. Take care and Keep going!

I appreciate your point of view about "Is this cheating ?" and "Who is the cheater ?". I am afraid that any kind of auto-tune tool will encouradge people to think that the only important thing in singing is singing in tune, and now, hooray, software will take care of it. Some singers can bring tears in your eyes or a shiver down your spine without being perfectly in tune all the time - some far from it. But singing is many more things than being in tune, things that can be learned and finally all boil down to transmitting an emotion. Also, as you pointed out, tasteless use of autotune can do more harm than good and suck the emotion out of a song.

I very helpful video, than you. For my own recreation I like to lay down the instruments and attempt to add a vocal track, as my vocal range isn't great, reaching some notes is a problem. Now I can attempt to fix them.

Tanks and Nice video. It´s hard to find any information about Vocal tune 2 on KZfaq. I think the Vocal tune is good enough and it´s included in the Samplitude.

When creating a new project, make sure you select the folder to create the project file in. This option is not very visible on the dialog page.
