I will show you what needs to be done when installing the Adey MagnaClean Professional 2.
I will go through step by step instructions and give you all my tips and tricks I have learnt over the years. So you can have a smooth installation.
I explain why getting the pipe work correct is very important and I change the pipe work in this video.
At the end of the video I will show you how you can add inhibitor or other chemicals to the system though the MagnaClean.
The aim of my videos are to help you with your heating problems. With easy to follow instructions, whether your are a complete beginner or an engineer.

Thank you for the useful video Mark. I have an old Eco Max boiler, there are about 6 pipes coming down from the boiler. In which of the pipes must this filter be fitted please?

All the vaillant combination boilers the return pipe is the right hand pipe. For any boiler the easiest way to tell which is the return pipe, just run your central heating see which pipe gets hot first and then which pipe starts getting hot. that would be the return pipe. As the hot water returns from the heating to the boiler. hope that helps everyone

Hi Mark, Adey have said i can fit on either the flow or return as i have a closed system. Is that correct please?

My boiler is less than the size of the magna clean from the roof and in the airing cupboard the pump is 6 inches off the floor before going left into the cylinder and right into the heating. The heating only pipe may be long enough is that a problem?

can you help i have heating system that has solid fuel fire and a gas boiler to run it i am looking to fit a magnaclean professional 2 to my system but not sure where to fit it as the pipes for the heating go throw a dunsly tank to heat the water for the heating can i still put it near the gas boiler or should it go near the feed pipes at the dunsly tank .or the pipes near the solid fuel fire ?

Im not a plumber but also think whenever l do DIY plumbing lve never used plumbers mate or ptfe tape on a new fitting. Surely the olive should do the job as that is what its designed for? Perhaps if you have a leak from an old rad where the fitting has been strained after draining you may use it?
