@@terriphillips979 well that's OK then, as it appeared in the video, that they just stood there doing nothing, other than making sure the camera had caught your fall. I was actually quite annoyed about it, as if anyone has a fall you drop everything & go to help. Glad you're feeling OK.

Taking a wire brush to a coin makes it worth about 90% less than if you cleaned it with olive oil (It takes a very long time using this method) or some other method that does not involve wire scrubbing, sanding, chemicals and or sandblasting/tumbling. If you actually found a coin that was valuable after the wire brush it would be trash when you were done. There are some 17th century Great Britain coins worth 7 figures in fair condition.

It was a grolsch beer bottle stopper. Grolsch beer has a pottery lid on it with secures to the bottle with a spring steel band. In the 90’s kids used to wear the lids on their shoes. Hope that helps and thanks for your comment 👍🏻

Aaron hope you start to feel better. Nigel I stopped watching all of you as I thought you were all so much fun. Until, I started to Kibbitz with Marie’s husband about all the other men helping her pull in the heavy items, except him, obviously worded in funny way about going to the gym or something like that. He responded back rudely and Marie rudely followed supporting him. I was only kibbitzing with LOL after it and he took offence on the attack instead of approaching it calmly asking what I meant. I thought everyone had a sense of humour thats why I enjoyed watching so much. Every thing was great if I complimented them, about her videos, her editing etc, until he made a comment into something hurtful, not my nature. I removed myself off their channel, which I started watching at your suggestion, as I followed you for a long time, loved Aaron and your humour, especially when you both catch same things, comparing size. So I am sorry I left you and am back to follow your wonderful videos which I share with American magnet fishers. Cheers to 2024 and lots of great finds. That pistol your friend caught is really something.
