It’s my first time magnet fishing since becoming a dad so I thought I’d go to the city where Johnny was born. We had a hot tip here for some WW2 treasures that were thrown in the canal so it was a very exciting adventure exploring the city of Zaandam. Hope you enjoyed this adventure as much as we did! want to add. My Mom born in Holland 1928 was a teenager during the war, she remembers near the end of WW2, 4 german soldiers in an open jeep with what looked like tool boxes on the back speed around a corner and land in the canal around Baambrugge. She told her brother who dove and retrieved what he could, was able to sell it for a ticket to Canada. Also my Dads wallet was pick pocketed Amsterdam city center years ago, I'm always interested in the wallets you find.

Leigh, even though I enjoy watching you and the crew magnet fishing. Ramon is a quiet person but I felt on this video his energy was off, which made the video off a little. I love it when you do videos with wim and the other guy that usually has amazing energy. I went back and watched a video of you and Niki at the old mining quarry, and you found all types of I pro and IPhones, and 3 apple watches. Hi, Leigh. Always good to see Remon on one of your adventures and the fact that it's the city where Johnny was born is even better (must have been nice to have Mum Webber over for a visit). My Neighbors were Dutch. In WWII their house was burned down by the Germans, They snuck back in the middle of the night to see if there was anything left but it was all burned.

Haha the yellow metal sign with the Z on it nearby the last bridge...It means 'Zinker'. It is a huge steel pipe in the water with electric cables and /or waterpipes in it. You both got stuck immediately 🤣

The big Z stands for "zinker" sinker in English and as the name suggests there is a sunken metal tube in the cabal.
