Just use a SHARGE ssd external enclosure. Way more simple, also comes with a active cooling system. I have a 2tb in mine, plug and play when needed. Also easy enough to transfer games two and from the internal ssd/external ssd if needed.

velcro sticker is better than the magnetic as it will ruin the components on the device.

Feel free to use velcro. I’ll stick to magnets. They feel premium and won’t damage anything.

@@MGTMaxGamesTechhe’s right, theres a reason why a lot of the laptop solutions similar to this use velcro or suction mounts to keep the SSD attached to the device. Magnets are known for causing failures with devices like this

@@MGTMaxGamesTech Magnets near any sensitive electronics especially ones that contain data is not good. You might not notice it right away but over time you will see what magnets can do.

@robertdaone No, magnets will not damage solid-state drives. SSDs (Solid State Drives) are not sensitive to magnets. They are generally a cluster of NAND chips which use electricity, rather than magnetism, to encode and store data. The only component of a computer sensitive to magnetism is a magnetic hard drive. Strong magnetic fields can destroy data on hard disk drives (HDDs) and data tapes, for a simple reason: Those devices use magnetism to store data. SSDs and other NAND flash devices use floating-gate transistors to store data - not magnetic charges. To generate electricity you shoud move the magnet very fast closer to that surface (magnetic flux) like a MRI machine does. So, very simple, if you are too lazy to do research, please don’t misinform others.

You are not getting full transfer speeds by doing it this way and magnets and sensitive electronics do not mix well. There are adapters that will allow you to put a 2280 drive inside the case itself and would look like stock without anything attached to the back and issues with magnets.

Magnets are not a problem for SSDs. Even Legion Go has 2 internal magnets at the base to close the kickstand.

Nope. It's easy enough to google these things. Lol. So you experienced the strong magnets can distort your monitor or that strong magnets can wipe out storage and assume that ssds would suffer the same fate? Those magnets in the vid aren't even strong enough to damage an hdd. Lot's of electronic devices have magnets in them. With all the information on the internet you still believe the wrong ones. Lol

@@herberthavilacastrosi es lo que dice es mejor la SSD interna para aprovechar la velocidad de escritura que ofrece la SSD., pero el problema es que tienes que cortar un pin de la tapa porque no sierra bien., otro problema es que cuando la vendas tendrás que borrar tus juegos ya descargados. Y si lo haces como el con la SSD EXTERNA solo la quitarias cuando quieras el problema es que la carcasa de la SSD no aprovecha toda la velocidad de escritura de la SSD... Te recomiendo comprar una carcasa de 40gbps ya que alcanzan velocidades de 3000 de escritura y lectura la mitad de lo que la SSD interna correría a 7000 de velocidad
