A shocking decision for Prince Mustafa and Ay Bige.
The Sultana strikes Ay Bige and Prince Mustafa with the marriage decision that she made for them. However, neither Ay Bige nor Mustafa wants this marriage. Hatice participates in Matrakçı and İbrahim's conversation. İbrahim happens to becomes obligated to explain the truth about Matrakçı and Nigar. Nigar's divorce comes in harem like a bombshell.
İbrahim decides to have his bust sculptured. Sultana Hatice gets worried about his desire on that. When Hürrem learsn that İbrahim has had his bust sculptured, she doesn's hesitate to tell this to Sultan Suleiman.
Sultan Suleiman gets disturbed about İbrahim's action. İbrahim has already been prepared to win the Sultan's heart.
Bali Bey buries his love deep inside!
The news that Ay Bige has got engaged upsets Bali Bey deeply. Bali Bey decides to bury his love deep inside. However, the fact that Prince Mustafa doesn't want that marriage causes him to think about it once more. Also, Sultana Hürrem makes Ay Bilge believe that this love can still go on. Ay Bilge makes an offer to Bali Bey which he cannot reject.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Of all the actors that play sultans over all Turkish series. Sultan suleiman is the scariest. The actor portrays this elder deep voiced extremely calm and comforting sultan but knows the entire time in a split second he can end your life and sever your head. Unbelievable acting. Seriously an extremely talented actor.

Ibrahim was quiet dominating towards Hatice. 😂 He never bothered himself under Hatice's Sultana's status. He used to behave the way he was wanting 😀😀. Same was Hurrem. She was never bothered for suleyman's "His majesty" status. They lived their life fully. 😀😂. Lutfor Pasha, Huserf Pasha...they were poor guy. Always under pressure 😆

The dialogues and facial expressions between Hurrem and lbrahim are the best. They have unique charisma together, even better than Hurrem and Suleiman. Probably because they are good friends in real life.

Had Suleiman not seen Hatice's look at that moment and Ibrahim talking with Mustafa, I doubt he would've done such a thing. But ultimately he is right, Ibrahim is getting too arrogant for his own good. But at least Ibrahim has the humility to ask for a resignation, or perhaps smart enough as it would prevent him from a worse fate (execution)

While I think this is more a case of being smart enough to see the writing on the wall, it also seems that, at times, Ibrahim could have a degree of sentimentality that would trigger him to curb some of his worse behaviors. The unfortunate thing is that, for that to happen, he always had to be pushed towards the very edge of losing the very things/people he had once cared so strongly for. And there's only so many chances for that to happen before you're left to tumble off entirely.

Ibrahim has a most unpleasant manner when challenged, so aggressive and venomous. He constantly asks for trouble with his arrogance and presumption. He doesn’t have much charity or graciousness about him. No wonder he comes to a sticky end.

There was pity in Suleiman's eyes at one point for Ebrahim, the slave boy from a fishing village who was granted all this power by the Sultan and became arrogant and egoistic. Fantastic acting by the actor who plays Suleiman. Truly Oscar standard. 👏👏👏

I used to do that every day when Hatice and I were children. -Were you fighting regularly aunt; mirimah asked. -Well, Mirimah, I used to be the oungest and most adorable child in the family. And then Hatice came...Let's just say that...I didn't take it particularly well. -Why so; -Please try to understand that these memories are kind of hurtful to me... -O-okay, aunt. Sah went to leave. But then her face beamed as if she remembered something. I think Ibrahim wanted to be acknowledged like other great warriors. He fought in the name of Suleyman, yes, but at the same time he won many battles himself. And what pains him- every time Suleyman encourages him to drop barriers and treat him like a brother only to be later reprimanded and being reminded he is a slave after all. Ibrahim came to hate Suleyman.

He wanted to save his own life especially when his intentions were exposed .. he gambled and won this time because Suleyman was compassionate and grateful, treating him as his brother, giving him another chance to redeem himself. But we know that in muslim religion, it's not tolerate for anyone to have a statue or a bust with his face, it's considered as like insult to Allah, but in non-muslim religions it's tolerate for a notorious person to have a statue or a bust with his face. It's no Sultan Suleyman's victories it's Ibrahim Pasha's victories, it's no Suleyman that the people should congrats but Ibrahim. It's Ibrahim himself that lead the armies to war not Suleyman. He's good to make politics and send battle order from the capital anf He's not good when it is recognise that his empire isn't not the only superpower of the world in his era. Oh the irony! Ibrahim forgot the story of his namesake, the prophet Ibrahim (PBUH), who DESTROYED all the sculptures and idols and statues in the city of Ur because they draw the anger of Allah. Maybe if Ibrahim Pasha remembered that story he would have been better off.
