Is it psychological or what, Fabi has been often in that position. On the other hand, Wesley So might play a bit more shaky but has no "Magnus"-effect stopping him from converting those good positions to wins against Magnus. Interesting final ahead!

@@jarirepo1172 i think it is because of Magnus' ability to capitalize off of the smallest mistakes while also having excellent defensive capabilities. This allows him to draw out games and just wait for his opponents to inevitably blunder, which, combined with the "Magnus"-effect you mentioned (probably stemming from his reputation), significantly increase the amount of combacks he is able to achieve

He and hikaru dual handedly got me from 200 to 1200. I got dusted like 3 times by fried liver the. Watched a Levi video and he made fun of literally every mistake I had made in all my games. He told me exactly who I embarrassingly was and I literally turned it around and went from 200-600 with fools mate. 600-800 with fried liver. And 800 to 1200 playing solid and capitalizing off my opponents blunders. Will need to learn more to rival pressure ideas to progress another 200
