Magpul's Fixed Carbine stock is my 'go to' stock for my ARs. I also have one in my RIA VR82.

Will it fit on a Mossberg SPX lever action rifle? I think the tube on the SPX is proprietary but the diameter is com-spec. If it fits how to fix it on? Is there a clamp mechanism on the stock? Thanks in advance

Yes. There is a single screw that effectively clamps/locks the stock onto the buffer tube. The screw also passes in front of the adjustment ridge on the buffer tube, preventing it from sliding rearward.

For the MOE Fixed Carbine stock the QD section is too deep for my QD sling to be inserted how do I apply my sling to it ?

If you use the fixed rifle stock, you will need to replace the receiver extension (buffer tube), buffer, spring, end plate and castle nut with 080-000-554 Rifle Buffer Tube Assembly. Please check out our video on how to properly install the buffer tube assembly. Thank you!

Do they make stocks that are either steel or aluminum? Not a fan of plastic

Plastic is good enough for the US military. I'm sure it will hold up for your uses.

No. It only fits Carbine buffer tubes.
