You have to push up on the knob and it will turn easy

@@Slay_No_More no probemo, these would not budge just going left or right but i accidently noticed it. I however did not know that with the pros i have, ill try it out too

The detent pin is on the bottom, and is fixed. It's the knob that's spring loaded to push down.

Needs to break in is right. I can’t budge my front sight adjustment knob. Same tightness on mounting. Drop of oil helped.

You have the lift the knob up to turn it.

I bought these and am not a fan, my issue is where the button to deploy them is. I likes the MBUS2 version better.

Well, I like that Gen 3 because it is thinner. For carbines with an offset flashlight that tucks in tight, the Gen 2 release paddle gets in the way. But Gen 3, with its narrow body, fit in very nicely.

ok.. so im not the only one having issues with getting the rear sight to go on. Its odd.. the front 1/2 of the rear sights claws slide on like silk, but the rear set of claws are binding up... was scared to take a hammer to it (as it literally looks like the rear claws are getting bit into by the rail system). But seeing you have to do just that eases my mind a bit... just need to see if i have a rubber mallet anywhere at home.

Yea, it needs a little tapping to help it to go in.

@@AllenTam Yea, it almost seems like the rear legs are just ever so slightly not 'shaved' enough on the lower end interior at least not in a way that fully 'matches' the front half of the rear sights mounts.

@@AllenTam Rails are all over the place. Sometimes you'll neet to tap them on. You won't hurt the sights. Trust me, I've dropped a bunch upside down onto concrete.

I had to tap my rear one all the way down my new AR and now the rear sight is wobbly.. is there a way I can make it tight again?

Sorry to hear that. Even tightening the screw still makes it wobbly? I would return it. With mine, I don't even have to tighten the screw, and it wouldn't move a bit. I got two sets, and they both were the same. Could it be your rail is just a bit undersized?

I'm not beating my sight with a mallet. I'll assume it's the rail of the Vector, otherwise I'll pass.

It was definitely his rail. I installed these today on my aero precision and had no problem. They were snug but nothing like is I did not need a mallet.

@@HotBrass-Lead the STANAG spec is unfortunately loose butthole. Rails are all over the place as far as sizing.

To fragile and the back sight doesn’t sit right on the rails it looks like are made for a toy gun going back to metal sights not polymer ones but that’s my personal opinion

Have you ever heard of lube, and not breaking the rear sight while installing it

Huh, no. I never lube my sights before or after installing them. And I have never broken any sights while instilling them. Thank you very much for asking. 🙂

@@AllenTam I was just busting your balls lol I installed these today on my Aero and they weren’t near as tight as yours but normally when I get that much resistance I just put a coating of oil on the rail underneath where it slides but in my opinion, the GEN two are better. What do you think?
