Thattukadas are small food shops on the roadsides of Kerala . Thattukada food is very popular especially for those who travel at night. The aroma of Thattukada chicken fry makes you to stop for a quick refill. Have this delicious chicken fry with kerala parotta!
In this video I'm sharing the recipe of 'Thattukada chicken fry 'which can be easily made at home!

Ingredients
Chicken 1.05 kg
Shallots 15
Garlic 18
Ginger 2 pieces
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
Chilli flake 1 1/2 tsp
Pepper 1/2 tsp
Fennel 2 tsp
Kashmiri chili powder 3 tbsp
Salt 2 tsp
Curd 1 tbsp
Vinegar 2 tbsp
Curry leaves few
Rice flour 2 tbsp
Flour 2 tbsp
Green chillies few
Oil for frying

I love all your recipes Mahima..all of them are superb and delicious.. I love the way of presentation.. just the minimum talk.. but not skipping the important points and tips while cooking… Will try your thattukada chicken fry also… I have made ghee rice, Kashmiri chilly chicken, mutton biriyani, mutton mappas, idly batter, chilly paneer,cauliflower manchurian, thenga varutharacha chicken curry… so on..

Wonderful recipe...could you please tell substitutes for milk products when using them..we are a lactose intolerant family...can't try many Indian dishes because of either milk or curd...would be much grateful if the substitute is mentioned ...your presentation is awesome

When I add flour the masala get separated from chicken while cooking. Is it because of the pan?

If the oil is not enough it will get separated. Also if you turn the meat so fast before 1 min on high heat
