Its funny but you never seem to associate that much snow with India , as a Brit I tend to think that India equals very hot and forget the mountains in winter . Great vid guys .

Superb video guys. Have played around a lot in the snow. A suggestion. It is advisable to stay away from the winch when pulling out a vehicle, if at all there is a failure of the hook it can cause serious injury.. Cheers.

Awesome Vid..Just one suggestion to the guys when rescuing a vehicle to stay away from the winch as sudden breakage of the same can seriously injure them. Keep the faith and Keep Jeeping (Y)

Fully agree, don't stand near the cable when winching. And use something as a dampener, like a mat in the middle of the cable. The dampener will help keep the cable from flying back so fast if it snaps under tension.

you should visit rohru (pabber valley) this winters, the roads are more dangerous and snow is even more in adjoining Enroute chanshal pass

No this is not the hatu peak road, one of the roads in the video is narkanda-baggi and other one is the road to sara meadow.

time has come to introduce a rear differential lock and a centre differential lock.A front differential lock would be a bonus.

+raj cp Thar has a centre differential lock from the very beginning. And the latest ones (2015 facelift) have a mechanical locking rear differential, which locks automatically whenever a slip is detected.

To get the most out of your 4x4 vehicle it is better to have chains on all 4 but you can manage with 2 on front also.

you guys have got to train on your winching safety .no one should stand in between the two vehicles that are connected to the winch but i think you dont care about yourself
