If you want to immediately end up with a job engineering job apply for an EIT (Engineering-In-Training) license in the province you want to work in before coming here, this is equivalent to our Registered Engineer license. This would allow you to work as engineer and use the title. Professional license is the next step to this. Also to apply for EIT you need to have your credentials(transcript) validates and this would go through WES (World Education Services). Another point is you have to be good in documenting/reporting your experience because this would be done in a portal called Competency Assessment which common to all provinces. You also need have Validators and 3 Professional Engineers to certify you reports. Hope this helps.

Eng. Rey is correct. Code Code is Standard safety codes to design industrial equipments or practices that must be followed by Engineer. If you know the basic code for what industries then you have competitive advantage.

hi Ms Ina, thanks for having Sir Felipe share his engineering career experience in Canada. Malaking tulong po lalo na sa mga young and aspiring engineers dito sa atin na nangangarap ng overseas career. Sir Felipe, am CE 88 from Mapua, and retiring soon working for a Japanese firm here in the Philippines for decades. Any chance if I can still get a chance to practice Civil Engineering there in Canada? Thank you. Will you consider attending the Mapua World celebration in January 2025 here in Manila to celebrate the Mapua's 100th year?

May laban ang mga Filipino engineer dito kasi if you are recognized as Professional Engineer - you passed the technical and experiences requirement tapos my continuing education pa requirement annually. I’m a Licensed Chemical Engineer sa Pinas and Professional Engineer registered sa BC.

Thank you for this video Ms. Ina. My husband is a mechanical engineer and we’re both working in Singapore na aligned sa pinagaralan namin (ako as Internal auditor) and we will be migrating in Alberta on September po, we’ve heard na baka mahirapan kami na aligned pdn sa profession at pinagaralan namin ang makuhang work paglipat namin. We’ve been checking on this topic po as my husband is planning to have license sa Alberta (APEGA) para in line pdn sa profession dito sa Singapore. Salamat po! ☺️

As Mr. Felipe said, get a job first then connect to APEGA para ma guide kayo on your road to licensing. EGBC dito sa BC more or less the regulations are pretty close to each other.
