I could solo nearly everyone in jjk with a gun if my bullets pierced their cursed energy somehow. Takaba is probably the only guy in jjk who is impossible to kill unless off-guard.

Chainsaw Man's verse is "underestimate" because it really is a weak verse, many of the characters don't have such great feats and normally, the verse is carried by HAX, who aren't even that good. The best HAX in Chainsaw Man are from Makima and Angel Devil, and these HAX aren't even great either. You are also greatly overestimating the Gun Devil. His speed and especially the speed of his bullets are in fact superior to those of many Jujutsu Kaisen characters, but his strength is much inferior, much of the destruction that the Gun Devil caused was due to by the quantity and the speed his bullets traveled and not by his strength. Not to mention that no other Chainsaw Man character scales at the same speed as Gun Devil, not even Makima. The more times Mahoraga is affected by a technique or the longer he is being affected by a technique, the faster he will adapt, considering that Mahoraga will constantly be affected by Makima's control technique, so he will be able to adapt to this technique very quickly. The 1000 Year Spear is not strong enough to hurt Mahoraga, nor are Makima's other abilities, and Mahoraga can easily dodge it.

@LeoGS770 Makima can just add more years to the spear, and she sent Pochita to space with like at max 10 shots, and before you say they aren't powerful because Pochita tanked them.... Pochita fought every primal devil and Horsemen and nearly won according to some of them, even eating part of the War Devil in the fight. He has insane regen and durability, speed, and strength. Makima can just use all of her contracts in one attack, as she can combine them, and she could use the ghost chains to temporarily control/paralyze Mahoraga to set up a big attack like the 1000 year spear or whatever year she wants it to be. She also didn't use everything on Pochita because she loved him or whatever.

Dharmachakra isn't independent of Mahoraga or whoever's using it. Sukuna using it on himself is no different than him using Max Elephant's water by himself. It being able to function while unconscious or while using his technique is a bit more complicated. Basically, when he was unconscious/using Shrine, Dharmachakra wasn't active, it was paused. When it's active, it's white and will turn to adapt to things. When it's paused, it's grayed out and doesn't pause. Sukuna was pausing the wheel to do other stuff. This is the same as Higuruma using Domain Amplification and RCT while keeping the Executioner's Sword active, he was just pausing it to do other stuff.

We have to remember though, that it was stated in the Shibuya Arc when Maho was first summoned by Megumi, during Megumi’s explanation of the Ten Shawdows technique to Haturo in order to boost the techniques base power, he states that even though he can include someone in the Subjugation Ritual, it will nullify the subjugation. This is because the possessor of the Ten Shadows Technique is the only one who can Subjugate the shinigami in the Technique, no outside influence can be used to help Subjugate any of them. Sukuna stated this as well, saying he’ll need to defeat Maho as “an outsider” to nullify the ritual. So IMO, I don’t think Makima who be able to control Maho. As the sated in the video the who nature of a Shinigami is to obey its possessor and they are a means to an end. But that’s only in relation to said holder of a shinigami technique.

The only way to get Mahoraga under the control of a Ten Shadows user is to successfully exorcise. This is specifically referring to the Ten Shadows, not subjugating it in general. That's like if someone had a pocket-world, and as long as they were in it, they're invincible. Then once they left, someone jumped them and was able to injure them because they're no longer invincible. You would see this and think, "That's not how that works! He's supposed to be invincible!" Also, Power never "broke free" from Makima's control, and I don't get why people think that. Makima demanded that Power hand over CHAINSAW MAN, but Power, as far as she knew, was holding DENJI, so she wasn't effected. As for Reze, no, Makima didn't need to best her in combat because one, it was Angel who did most of the work, not Makima, and two, Makima just enjoys killing people. She's a Devil, it's in her nature. She killed Quanxi when she could've just controlled her, as with what remained of her harem. Even Nayuta, who is a different person from Makima and much more human-like, isn't against killing people. She has also used her control power on people before beating them in combat. Another example is Angel, who doesn't feel any innate desire to help people and casually eats corpses. Lastly, you act like Infinity is scientifically impossible to bypass, when it could be finessed around by a multitude of things from just moving with infinite speed to using an attack that can slip between atoms, like a laser. Of course, Mahoraga cut through space to just ignore it. However, I don't see Mahoraga being able to adapt to something as esoteric as Makima's immortality. He would be able to adapt by definition of his power, and infinity isn't physical. Nothing has ever been proven to be infinite physically. I doubt you'll even read all of this but regardless, I wouldn't feel right if I didn't respond with evidence and proper counter claims so here goes. First off, nothing you said disproves the fact that Mahoraga could be permanently taken control of by Makima. He adapts to any and all phenomena. It doesn't matter what it is. Once Makima tries that shit, he's going to adapt to it and break free. If it doesn't kill him, he adapts. That's just how it works. Second. You do not understand how Infinity works. It CANNOT be bypassed by simply going at infinite speed or using a laser like you suggested. (That second option doesn't even make sense because if that were true, someone within the jjk verse that knows how infinity works like Kenjaku, who's been fighting and killing six eyes users like Gojo for hundreds of years, or Sukuna, would've done that instead of having to go through roundabout methods like using Domain Amplification and Mahoraga to bypass it) Infinity is not a physical thing, its a concept. You're being slowed down so that you never reach Gojo. Infinity functions the same way an Asymptote in pre calculus does. The graph of a function, will approach a certain value when you take its limit at infinity but it will never actually reach or "touch" that value or point on a graph. Lets say I'm wrong and you're right (which you're not) and that you'd have to move at infinite speed to bypass infinity. That statement in and of itself proves my point that you need to defy physics in order to bypass infinity because it is impossible for anything to move at infinite speed. Moving at that speed is a physics defying feat. Again, the fact that Mahoraga was able to get around a concept that defies the laws of Physics like that means that he'd have no issue getting past Makima's contract. Again Denji was able to do it by simply changing his mindset from killing her as an act of malace to an act of mercy. Mahoraga who adapts to any and all phenomena could do the same. Third. Power DID resist and break Makima's control of her. I'll even give you the damn Chapter numbers so you can see for yourself. Chainsaw Man chapter 90: Makima: "Power be a good girl and hand over chainsaw man. Do it and I won't kill you. I'll let you be my pet again" Power looks up at Makima, Makima stares back, Power looks down in fear. Power: "You're wish is my command. @@charleshot25 First: Yes, Mahoraga would be able to eventually adapt to Makima's control, but she could still control him for a time before his wheel can turn. (For all we know, she could just command him to not adapt, but I don't think Mahoraga actually has any control over Dharmachakra so let's not count this) Either way, she'd be able to at least stall him with it as the adaptation isn't instantaneous and it takes a couple hits for him to adapt. Second: Infinity is a physical thing, not a concept. The way Limitless works is that it allows the user to manipulate space at the atomic level. Infinity is simply fucking with space to infinitely slow things. Thus, due to working at the atomic level, something smaller could go through it and hit Gojo. Also, the reason nobody has tried to use a laser is because they're insanely hard to come by. Also, light passes through Infinity anyways so Gojo would literally have to blind himself in order to block a laser, if Infinity can block sub-atomic/non-physical things. And even assuming that Infinity is a concept doesn't physically exist, it still wouldn't mean that Maho was able to bypass a concept, it just found a way to side-step it by technically not going through Infinity and just directly hitting Gojo. Lastly, Power was loyal to Makima to begin with. She would've done as she asked regardless of Makima controlling her, but she chose to ignore her because of her not wanting to just give up someone she cared about. And again, even if Makima did try to control Power, she asked for Chainsaw Man, not Denji. Power only saw Denji in what she was carrying, so she would've ignored it. Also, I've real all of Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen, and I read JJK before CSM, so this isn't fan-bias.

Being controlled (which he's already familiar with) wouldn't take him long to adapt to. Especially since Makima's control ability isn't complicated. Again, Infinity is not a physical thing. That would imply that it's a barrier, which it is not. The Series has made this clear. Every time an explanation of barrier techniques comes up, everything BUT Infinity is mentioned and I already explained the mathematical implications for this so im not going to repeat myself. Go look up Achilles Paradox. That's what Infinity is based off. Infinity isn't something you can touch it's a paradox. In theory you can divide the distance between you and an object an infinite amount of times which means you'd never be able to reach said object. While this concept is true, it doesn't work like that in real life because eventually you'd be able to reach the object. Again, "space" in this context is a plane of existence. You can't touch it therefore it is not physical. Sukuna himself said he had to target space and existence itself to get through Infinity. And again Sukuka said himself, he targeted EXISTENCE ITSELF to get through Infinity. Existence is a concept. Now on to the lasers. Mahoraga needs multiple wheel turns in order to adapt to an attack. This is an untamed Mahoraga, so it takes him longer than the tamed Mahoraga who was able to adapt to infinity and make his own attack against it. The moment Mahoraga starts taking less damage Makima would see what’s going on and order the Devil that did that damage to buy time while shenprrpares her other contracts and weapons to do a 1-shot kill

If Sukuna opened the fight with his domain expansion, instead of using dismantle on Mahoraga allowing it to adapt along the fight, then it would get one shot. Also the regen from nothing is an anime only feat; was never there in the manga.

Mahoraga needed to go through a domain and several combos of sukunas abilities to adapt in the manga, he just had busted regen. Whereas the anime it's WAY worse as he went through an entire volley of hits before finally adapting.

How does Sukuna outscale CSM when base Quanxi alone outscales him in speed since Curse Naoya at Mach 3 is the fastest in JJK just below Gojo's teleportation? Makima's ability to combo her contracts pretty much instant-killed the Gun Devil, who scales to the Hero of Hell. Sukuna, Gojo, and Mahoraga gets stats-checked so hard its not even funny, and we aren't even talking about Pochita, who solo-ed the Four Horsemen and the Weapons Devil at once.

Reading to address some points here.. 1. Makimas control depends on her perspective, so it can be argued quite a bit, but my own take is this; The darkness devil starts as strong or stronger then Makima, while a just summoned Mahoraga does not. Mahoraga would need to adapt to Makimas attacks to be able to deal with him, making him “inferior” to the Darkness devil in the eyes of Makima due to the fact that from her perspective, a primal fear is more so her equal. And to say this is from perspective entirely, not only was she unable to control the prime minister (because he had a higher position then hers in the goverment, thus superior in her perspective) she was also unable to control chainsawman even after beating him twice because of her perspective of a perfect, uncontrollable chainsawman. 2. Makimas control can be broken my extreme emotions, but in the manga it only really happened once, on a person that suffered enough grief and anger after being forced to kill his entire adoptive family, friends and the love of his life. I personally don’t believe Mahoraga would be able to break free with its emotions, simply because it would not have the same range and intensity to that of Angels or Denjis. In terms of adapting to the control, is really a cointoss to be completely honest. A tamed Mahoraga doesn’t adapt to the control of the weirder, after all, so there must be a caveat in the wheel that doesn’t adapt to non-malicious control at least, but that’s more so a theory. 3. As you said, exposure makes the process of adaption faster, but Mahoraga would still need to adapt to not only Makimas regeneration but also her contract with the prime minister, two barriers one harder to break then the former, to even begin giving her damage. I would personally say Mahoraga wouldn’t really be able to break the contract with the prime minister, but more so making an attack that constantly damages Makima against her regeneration killing millions and millions of people by the hour by them bleeding/burning or any DOT cause to death that a devil isn’t immune to. 4. Control can control devils, that much is shown with her final fight seeing her control the zombie devil without effort. It’s more so accurate to say she is communicating with high ranking devils that aren’t primal fears with some of her contracts, such as Punishment, and commanding them from there since people with contracts can communicate with their respective devil to an extent, which Makima is then able to use (Again, Makimas control is based on perspective rather than just pure metric of strength. So she could probably see controlling a contracted the same as controlling the devil, since that devil was low enough to make a contract with a human in the first place where he isn’t the complete sole benefit like Makimas usual contracts) 5. Combination contracts are definitely one of her most surprising feats, but the time and effort it took to kill the gun Devil was mainly because of the gun devils size. Similar to curses, Devils of such magnitude need to be completely decimated in order to be killed, such as we see with Gun, Hell, or the Chainsaw Devil (though this last one was weakened twice, and the first one was a 5th of itself). Keep in mind aswell that Makima combined mu,tiple contracts across multiple people, so it shouldn’t be a stretch of an imagination when having a comparably smaller target to activate the ability faster as they don’t have to go for a size overkill, instead using something like the 1000 years light spear in combination with other contracts. 6. Mahoraga at the point of entering Malevolent shrine was cut to pieces multiple times and needed to adapt to the slash, which he did up to the point of being within Sukunas domain. Makimas Bang attack, in turn, would damage Mahoraga severely until he managed to adapt to it. Makima doesn’t even need to use Bang constantly, it could be a starter or finisher, taking advantage of Mahoraga having to recover to order her fiends/hybrids to do an a,l out attack to kill him outright. 7. The flattening, also known as orbital assault, is kind of a play or reference to knowing a “demons true name” in order to banish it. It’s arguable whether or not it would work on Mahoraga, but no matter the speed of he is within range the technique would function (so even knowing that it’s happening wouldn’t really help unless he attacked Makima or escaped the range. Seeing Mahoragas personality he would certainly pick the former, since he never went to escape Sukunas domain for example even when he was chargin ad different attack). This much like the control one is very arguable and is left to interpretation really, I personally don’t think it would kill but would damage Mahoraga. Finally in terms of win condition, it’s mainly the sheer variety of options and attacks she has at her disposal, that and overwhelming attacks like combination of contracts, bang, and the 1000 year light weapons, this last one could even be stronger considering the amount of lives Angel consumed because of Makimas orders.

Also, after reading back on the manga, Makima can communicate with any being she has control of regardless of distance. This is seen from the many animals she has control over to an extreme example, that being when she Communicated with Princi (the spider fiend) while being on earth and Princi in hell. So Makima would really only need to control the contracted, work her way up to find and beat the Devil that made the contract, and then control them from there, even being able to communicate with her contracted on separate realities like hell.

It's part of the reason I don't particularly like arguments on her abilities because it's a lot of extrapolation based on very little text. I make my arguments based on text and presented use, so I don't agree she can control anyone from the jump until shown/stated otherwise. You're also making a speculative argument about Mahoraga being "weak" because they have to adapt; I find that to be a very subjective stance. She didn't approach Reeze until after the fight and was weakened; you could call that playing with her food, but it does present a pattern of behavior where she doesn't control from the jump. I'd argue her perspective on those weaker than her varies. Once more, are we arguing a scenario where Makima knows all Mahoraga's abilities and how they work so she can subjectively assume Mahoraga is weak? That seems like a bias argument, granted it's a hypothetical fight so it's all bias I suppose. Either way, the dictation of how she controls is a very vague and we haven't seen it used in enough scenarios to argue it's potential. I think you're overestimating her ability while notably downplaying Mahoraga. 2. I mentioned emotions breaking her control to note that it isn't absolute, not that it would be the method; I agree that Mahoraga likely wouldn't break it this way. However, calling it a coin-toss is a bit of misnomer. What we know is that the ritual summoning them and completing it is the entire act of gaining control, it's baked into the the creature along with the other skigami under the 10 shadow cursed technique. That is why it doesn't adapt to that control in particular, not because being controlled by other phenomena is outside its adaption. I'd argue not to make that leap in logic unless there's a cited quote or manga panel that could suggest that. I'm not against exploring the mechanics, I just argue it's better to provide supplemental data rather than make an assumption without a caveat. 3. I'm not arguing that the adaption to her contract is what would do her in but rather noting it's a possibility. I also don't think they're large feats to overcome tbh. For example, Mahoraga adapted to Sukuna: shifting from positive to cursed energy, seeing the Dismantle attacks, and that was over short period in their fight; Mahoraga also adapted to Infinity over the course of Gojo and Sukuna's fight, though indirectly. My point being, it doesn't need to know what the ability is, it just has to interact with it. We know that a single interaction begins the adaption and that repeated exposure speeds it up. I don't think it would take long due to her letting herself be hit. 3.5. Makima's regeneration prior to the contract isn't notably potent in the CSM universe, hence the contract, and the contract itself doesn't provide immediate regeneration. We've only seen her do so when a person is directly chained to her. Once more, if she has an ongoing wound, that can keep her disabled, case in point Power's blood surging through Makima after the chainsaw wound. Within the Manga, most of her deaths are from quick, mundane attacks, so I wouldn't argue a slash would keep her down. However when pressed by supernatural or ongoing abilities, she's had more difficulty and Mahoraga has the ability to adapt them, within reason. There's also a lot of room for exploitation within her contract. For example, an act of love doesn't count as an attack, suggesting room for speculation that non-malicious acts could kill her. Again, that's speculation, but the manga lays out how Denji worked around it. Point being, the individual's perspective on their act can be a loophole. 4. I didn't mean to suggest that she couldn't control devils, as she controls 4 within a unit. I should have clarified after mentioning the curse devil; I had meant that she doesn't control the curse devil, she just has access to the person with the contract. I highlight the contract because it has stipulations as to what the person can command the devil to do, case in point, using the corpse of the individual contracted with the Hell devil to offer all of themself in order to teleport everyone away from the Darkness devil. She didn't have control over the devil, nor did she communicate to it directly. That's why I don't agree with your assessment that she communicates to devils via their contract. I'd argue based off of presented use in the manga that she can just use the person to manipulate the contract to the the extent of its stipulations. That aside, yes, she can communicate over distances with those under her thrall, hence spider devil brining her in to hell. 5. You didn't provide citation or a presented example to argue that size was the reason for the combined contracts. I'd say it's a leap to suggest that. I'd say it's better to argue that she used the combination because of it's strength and, more notably, because she could predict it's actions. She's had a surplus of time to study the gun devil and is familiar with behavior and abelites. Additionally, the Gun devil didn't do enough to stop her setup. One thing I can note about some of her more "absolute" abilities is that they require a ritual and time to set them up. I suggest she didn't use those abilities against other opponents because they didn't provide her room to accomplish them. 6. You're overestimating Bang. It's not that I undermine it's potential strength but rather it's ability to be oppressive on stronger opponents. It's nowhere near as oppressive as the shrine and it's odd to suggest that he couldn't adapt to Bang. The only time she shot someone consecutively was when they were in the air unable to maneuver. That's an ideal setup where as Shrine is oppressive from every angle without assistance. You're also asserting Bang is stronger than a Cleave or dismantle, based off of what? There have only been 3 feats of Bang I would note: killing Power, harming the Darkness Devil, and sending HoH into the atmosphere. Of the 3, I'd argue the 3rd is the highest example of strength due to the propelled distance, but beyond gravity, there was no resistance. The Darkness Devil is vague as durability isn't a given of primordial fears, for example the Falling Devil was marred by a sniper bullet. On the other hand, their regeneration and range of influence has been consistent; same example, the Falling devil made note that the wound was moot and instantly regained their form. Bang seems to have supernatural qualities that makes it effective against devils. Back to the point, I don't see Bang being a stronger ability than Dismantle/Cleave, let alone Shrine. 7. I agree with this point. I don't see it killing but certainly a real possibility of harming. We'd need to see it used on a larger variety of targets. I do agree that Makima has a large variety of abilities/individuals at her disposal but I don't think said variety has the required strength. I'd say her most notable feats in regards to destructive power include the Spear, combing contracts, and Bag. None of these compare to shrine or the fire arrow used by Sukuna in my opponion. I do think the combining of contracts could have varying potential but i look to her fight against HoH as an example of her potential. When faced against an opponent she's had foreknowledge of, ample time to weaken, and gathered tools to contend against, she didn't pull out anything overwhelmingly oppressive. For notably weaker opponents, her tactics were more than sufficient and I'm sure there's conversation comparing HoH to Mahoraga, but good endurance, regeneration, and efficient speed/attacks were able to best her. (side note, i don't want a convo comparing HoH to Mahorago. That's gonna be longer and I don't wanna do that) She only pulled a win over HoH when she used Kobeni as a lure. I'd argue Mahoraga would likely contend similarly and doesn't have the same morality to exploit in conjunction with a wider variety of abilities. Without pre-planning and a deluge of info, which even in the JJK series is kept shut, I don't see her pulling a win.

@@texjones1993ify 1. It’s stated multiple times in the series that the control ability is based on Makimas or more so the control devils perspective on the person they’re using it on. An example is in part two, with Nayuta - a reincarnation of Makima, much younger an inexperienced, was able to take control of Asa/Yoru with not much effort turning them into a dog. Even though Asa/Yoru would be able to easily overpower her, from the perspective of Nayuta Asa was but a lowly thief and controlled her as such.

To be honest this is more so a depends, because from a perspective being controlled by Makima might not be seen as an attack as long as it isn’t harmful to Mahoraga, that was the basis of the theory. Of course, if Makima told Mahoraga to kill itself with control it would definitely adapt to it
